  1. I have a hard time with chicken as well, but Mexican has been something that has worked well for me since a month out.
  2. Thanks! I feel like I am completely stuffing myself! It's like the more I eat the more I lose. Doesn't make sense, but it seems every couple of weeks I go through a stall. I am doing my best not to compare myself to others, but sometimes that's difficult. On another forum I am on, a guy just said at his 2 week post op he had lost 30 pounds! It's those times that I think I am losing slow.
  3. I totally don't separate the weight by pre and post surgery. I figure if I lost it, then that's all that matters! I have been on yet another 2 week stall and thank goodness today I lost a pound and a half bringing my total to 48 pounds gone forever!
  4. I agree I usually have a protein shake for breakfast. Protein bars are common as well. I am not perfect at getting my protein in, but I figure its a process.
  5. I can eat just about anything if I chew enough. Believe it or not, steak works well for me if its not well done, but chicken the pouch does not enjoy at all.
  6. Thanks so much!
  7. Has anyone experienced a cough and sore throat post op? I am curious what I can take for the cough to be able to sleep?
  8. I didn't eat any of it!!!! Yay Me!!!! But it smelled really good!
  9. shoot! I hit the send button too soon! My A1C is 5.8, down from 8.9 a year ago! I need a little more exercise because my HDL was too low, but other than that.... all good! So very happy!
  10. Friends, I have to share some exciting news! I came home to find the lab results from my family doctor appointment last week.... I am in tears! Everything is so good
  11. Man, I have such bad English! Lol "has responded negatively is what it should say
  12. I agree with the support helping me be successful. I tell anyone who questions my eating. Noone has responds negatively.
  13. I guess my post didn't complete. Left off the words from my picture. I finally made it to Puerto RIco! It feels great to go out in my bathing suit and not be embarrassed! Here is a picture from our balcony.
  14. Nah... You are getting smaller by the minute!!
  15. You will probably fit in my suitcase!
