I'm still here had surgery July 1st. I have lost 62 since surgery and I am doing great!!!

I have a few NSV's to share. I am 2 months out I lost a lot of weight before surgery. My total now is 110 pds lost. My shoe size went from a 10 to a 9. My scrubs for work were 4x and now is a size Large. I am now starting to shop in the misses dept instead of the Plus size dept. I just can't stop smiling I feel so good and am loving my life!!!!

Well I ended up having emergency surgery today. I had thrown up severely all night so my surgeon had me to go the hospital this morning. He went in and found I had a large adhesion that was tightly wrapped around my colon. It was squeezing it and forcing liquids back up. I got to come home tonight and I feel so much better!!!

I am 11 days post op and very happy with my results so far!!!

Thanks for all the prayers today!!! I am officially on the Losers Bench!! I am sitting in a chair and about to go walking with the nurse. It went well and I am glad to be on the other side now!!!

I feel so bad for those of you with coworkers that are being unsupportive and mean. I feel really blessed I work at a small hospital and everyone is
Great about my upcoming surgery. I work as a CNA and a lady I work with is our unit secretary. She is cross training with me so that I can come back to work in 2 weeks and do a desk job. She will be doing my job. We will switch for 2-3 weeks till I am cleared for heavy lifting. She volunteered to do that on her own. Everyone else on my work team has been cheering me on as I have lost weight doing the nut appts.

I'm in my two week shrink the liver diet also. I know it truly won't hit me until after my surgery. But i got to do this for me. Hell yes i will cry thanks to costco I'm stocked up in tissue.

Do not let anyone talk you out of doing the surgery. This is something for YOU!!! You cannot truly give love to someone else until you are able to love yourself. It is not selfish of you to put yourself 1st. You can do it and your friends and family will come around.

I go back to the Dr. Tuesday for my 3 month Nut appt. all my tests are done and I had to lose 30 pounds for my insurance. I have lost 45 it's like I have gotten in the Zone. I am so motivated and finally ready to change my life.
