I'm still here had surgery July 1st. I have lost 62 since surgery and I am doing great!!!

I have a few NSV's to share. I am 2 months out I lost a lot of weight before surgery. My total now is 110 pds lost. My shoe size went from a 10 to a 9. My scrubs for work were 4x and now is a size Large. I am now starting to shop in the misses dept instead of the Plus size dept. I just can't stop smiling I feel so good and am loving my life!!!!

My 2nd surgery was to remove an adhesion that had formed and was wrapped around my intestine.

I am 7 weeks out and I feel back to normal finally. I ended up having a 2nd surgery 2 weeks after my RNY. I just now feel like myself I have energy again. I am so Glad I had this surgery and I am so excited for my future!!!

Well I ended up having emergency surgery today. I had thrown up severely all night so my surgeon had me to go the hospital this morning. He went in and found I had a large adhesion that was tightly wrapped around my colon. It was squeezing it and forcing liquids back up. I got to come home tonight and I feel so much better!!!

I had my 2 week follow up today I have had what i thought was severe acid reflux. Well it's not its a hernia that went bad on me and its causing liquids to back up. I will have hernia surgery next Friday not what I wanted to hear!!!!

I had my surgery on July 1st. I gained 10 from the IV fluids I lost that plus another 17 pounds. I feel good except that I now have acid reflux. I never had it pre op. I go for my follow up Dr. Appt tomorrow so I will get that addressed. My incisions are almost healed. I struggle to meet my protein quota mostly due to the reflux. Anyway just wanted to check in.

Hey Rick, I am doing Great!!! I am 2 weeks post op today. I did have a few days where I didn't feel well, but I am doing much better. I have lost 15 pounds as of today. I go to Dr. Roller on Thursday for my follow up appt. I hope the insurance delay gets fixed for you soon!!! Keep me posted. Shawna

I went with my boys to Cracker Barrel and I had the spicy grilled catfish. It was awesome very tender and I didn't even eat a fourth of it so Hello yummy leftovers!!!

HW: 316 SW: 262 CW: 248 I am 11 days post op and very happy with my results so far!!!

I am 10 days post op and I have felt really good today. I hope that means its getting easier I don't get to start real food until Monday. Two weeks only on liquids has been hard and I don't have a lot of energy. I am losing weight so I am super happy about that!!!

I am one week out today and I'm just not feeling great. I have trouble getting in my protein and all my water. I am on liquids only till I have my follow up on the 18th. I am not really hurting anymore not on pain meds but have a lot of nausea. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Thanks for all the prayers today!!! I am officially on the Losers Bench!! I am sitting in a chair and about to go walking with the nurse. It went well and I am glad to be on the other side now!!!

I am at the hospital and will be going into surgery soon!!! I can't wait to start my new life!!!

Well it looks like I will be starting us off for July. I have to be at the hospital at 5 am on Monday morning I will be my surgeons 1st surgery of the day. Renee it looks like u will be just after me that Day we will have to let each other know how it went!!! Shawna
