One week out and not feeling well!

I am one week out today and I'm just not feeling great. I have trouble getting in my protein and all my water. I am on liquids only till I have my follow up on the 18th. I am not really hurting anymore not on pain meds but have a lot of nausea. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

  • Yes, completely normal. The fact that you're not in pain is great!!! Just keep moving and sipping and you'll feel more like yourself every day!

I was the same way at a week out. But you really have to make sure to stay hydrated. Remember that protein shakes count toward your liquid goal. Hang in-it gets better.

Hope I starts getting better for you

Sorry.. meant to say I hope it starts to get better for you

My NUT doesn't count Protein Shakes towards the liquids. Sucks.

Hi Shawna. Congratulations on doing so well. 15 lbs in two weeks, I hope I have those kind of results. Nice to talk to another Shawna!

Shawna,

Good to hear you are doing well. I think the Doctors office failed to submit some paperwork. I am pretty sure they will get things resolved soon. I am ready to get the show on the road. I am doing pretty good pre-op, I have lost 40 lbs and not even started the pre-op diet. I just have 60 to 70 pounds to reach my goal weight. I am taking this serious this time - no more yo-yo weight loss, I hope...

Talk to you later,

Rick
