Ok so I thought I had lost only 60 pounds . I got on the scale today and I'm down a total of 75 pounds! It's amazing what happens when you learn to stay off the scale.

Down 108 pounds since I started my pre-op diet and 10 pounds to go until I hit my original goal.

Still maintaining at 126. Happy :-)

Down 3 this week. I need to stop thinking about long term and focus on here and now. I let the feeling of how far I have left to go spoil my excitement for how far I came.

I took the online seminar yesterday and the clinic called me today. I have a PCP visit scheduled for Nov 5 and a pre surgical class for Nov 14. After that my first appointment with the clinic will be in January and by February I will have my 3 month monitored diet complete.

I took my daughter to a football game last week and I fit comfortably in the seat. If anything it was a little roomy. I love to go to sporting events but was always worried about spilling over on who was ever forced to sit next to me.

I wrapped a normal towel around my body after my shower today without anything peeking out.

Ditto I'm still over heating most of the time but I sure do like the coldness here in Williston during the winter time. I'm finally starting to freeze in the evenings which is a blessing. I've been waiting for years to say hunny turn the furnace up I'm freezing!

After years of contemplation, months of research, and finally seeing a coworker get bypass i decided to go for it in January. Going to use hope bariatrics i think. I changed my insurance to anthem bcbs and i signed up for a $2500 hcsa so I'll have the money on January one. I called to make an appointment but its too early. They said call in November.
I know I'll be approved 5'5" 350ish pounds
Anyone near Pittsburgh thinking 2014 is the year?

I swear if u see MFP, my diary is mostly snow crabs, salmon, or tilapia ...I agree on the textures shrimps I can do once in a while but I keep trying the texture is weird...and tilapia I like it to but I get full fast because it's a dense Protein but snow crabs is by far my favorite it takes time to eat, it has that crunch to it so I enjoy them...plus my pouch agrees...lord know my pouch has the last say so in everything lol

I can't wait to do that with no pain..at Church I always just sit in the pew n pray because the pain is so bad on my knees plus its hard to get up.
