  4. Has anyone ever chewed a certain food just to taste it but not swallow?
  5. I can tell that everyone is supportive. I love it!

  9. Thanks Krystal you've always bewn sweet and that pic you posted was beautiful.
  10. I originally started out in this group because my surgery was originally scheduled for 4/29, since it was rescheduled for 5/20 I moved to the May group but I wanna come back here of you guys don't mind please. I still read April's section every day.
  11. You are really pretty. Congrats!
  12. Well now that makes since. My surgery was may 20th and just last week I was moved from liquids to soft food. Thank!
  13. I'm only suppose to have 2-3oz per meal. My nutritionist gave me a 2oz cup at my appointment and I also have a scale. However is it the same portion if I weight it versus putting it in a 2oz cup?
  14. I feel guilty as well right now. I'm only suppose to eat 2-3 oz of food and I ate 4-4 1/2. Not happy with myself right now.
  15. Barbra Its great to hear you are doing well! What have you been doing as far as exercise and eating. I'm 19 days out and I can't seem to lose more than 16 lbs
  16. I'm so afraid of over eating. I was released to have 2-3 oz of soft food 3x a day. However I think I ate may 4-4 1/2 oz. I'm afraid of this becoming a habbit. Do I just need to have more control? It didn't make me sick but I'm really full, or is this normal? Was anyone else like this in the beginning and were you still able to have a successful weight loss? Thanks in advance.
  17. I'm glad the moment passed for you. I'm 19 days out and in the beginning I was definitely hungry just like you. I wanted anything and I knew that u was truly hungry. However like you I would take a nap and that would help. Now I'm learning that if I drink a Protein shake it help tremendously with the hunger. So maybe that's something you could try. I know for me that helps at night as well. Good luck and hang in there.
  18. And she said I should try and stay around 80-85
  19. My nutritionist told me the exact same thing.
  20. That's great Debbie! Glad to hear you are doing well.
  21. Welcome and congrats on making it to the other side. Sorry that things have not been as smoothly. However I know that having blood clots are common therefore its something that can be cared for easily. Hopefully things will get brighter here soon. Take it easy and keep us updated when you can. Again welcome!
