I've also developed low blood sugars. My surgeon nurse practioner told me to eat a cracker when that happens.

I was sent with these shots home. I had a very serious reaction to them. I know this is going to sound gross but it happened to me. I started with bleeding a little than it kept going strong gushing out I thought it was normal. But it just kept on and on. It was getting out of hand. Well I called the doctor and told him I can't stop bleeding from my rectum. He said to go to ER. Which I did when I got there my hemoglobin was at 7 so I had 4 blood transfusion. This was very scary. And just telling my story for whoever goes home with those shots. But remember it might not happen to everyone. What happened to me was special.

I need to know how many weeks to you to recooperate to be able to do chores and things around the house I feel like I need to get up and do things but am scared I will mess something up. So again how long b4 I can be a housewife fully again. I just got surgery on the 7th and I feel it's been a year. Pls someone explain to me.

Roxy the best of luck to u. May god b with u on these painful times and always. I hope u get better soon and if that doctor isn't helping keep on going to emergency. Until they see what's really wrong. It might be ur appendix be careful. Well again ill be praying and I hope u feel better today.

I'm post op 4days got to start vitamins tomorrow and the one from docs office are costly does anyone have a better idea for which will be the best for me. Pls reply I need your advice ty

I'm 3 days post op my surgery was on 2/7/2013 i had a revision from lapband to RNY and also had my gallader removed. So I still have a little pain. Also I still have lots of gases. Well hopefully I will be feeling good soon. Good luck 2 all!

I'm about to have surgery and just realized I haven't done diet. What should I do? Can I just start liquids now until surgery? Any suggestions anyone?

Ty Debbie I hope your surgery goes well also. I know we are doing this for a better health. I know in fact that if I was lighter all my asthma, severe back pains. Depression will all go away. Also I believe my lack of self esteem will change. I now don't even want to look at myself in the mirror. I am always moody. Especially that everyone I try to talk about my weight saids I can do it on my own. I don't need this surgery everyone saids. But I know I do need it. I'm sure it's going to be very scary to get to the hospital on that day but I am gonna be there and I am going foward for the better. I know this is not going to be easy but I need to get my health problems fixed. I did lapband six month ago and what it did was make me gain more weight. Awful I know! I was going to do sleeve which was not the one surgeon thought was for me. Since b4 the lapband he wanted me to get RNY. But now it's a sure thing I will be on my way to this journey on Feb 7 2013 . I guess that's going to be my new birthday. Well I wish u and all of you that are going thru this surgery or has gone thru this surgery the best of luck. Current weight 261 5' 8 tall ! I'm getting wls on Feb72012! I'm very nervous! Im doing a revision from Lap band to RNY. Hope I can lose some weight! I'm tired of not being able to walk the mall. parks, block etc. I want to get healthier for my boys. I need to also do this for myself I am having severe asthma and severe anxiety. I don't want to even go out anymore. I just wat to eat and I want to stop but due to my prednisone I drink I get very hungry. So new to this forum I need everyone support because my family isn't giving it to me. They are very negative of this decision I did. And I believe I'm still a little young to feel hopeless. So prayers will be appreciated ty Janette
