  1. Wendy's chili. It's less filling than I thought it would be. I got a large assuming it would be 2 meals, and I ate just a little more than half. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  2. Thanks Just hit the infamous 2 week plateau and trying not to freak because I know it'll pass. Want to make sure I'm not setting myself up for failure!! Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  3. Since I've started my new routine I find myself eating dinner later. I get out of work at 5:30 then go right to the gym. Then I go home and eat dinner, so I end up eating around 7:30-8:00. I try to go to bed around 10:30-11 but it's usually later lol. My question is, do you think eating that late is going to impact my weight loss at all? I want to get the gym out of the way, don't trust myself to go back out once I've gotten comfy at home. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  4. Definite lactose sensitivity. I had the same thing as you pre-op. some things bothered me, some didn't. I honestly haven't tried much dairy since surgery but so far the small amount I have tried has been ok. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  5. Exercise would definitely help. What about water aerobics? Great workout and much less pain and stress on the body. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  6. From what I hear it's natural to hit a stall at that point. I think ice hit one too. Im sure switching to soft foods has something to do with it. You're taking in more calories. The weight loss will continue, just keep up the good work and power through Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  7. Turkey meatballs. First time trying them. Went down a little hard :-/ think I'll wait a month or so before trying them again. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  8. I've come up with a great solution to cravings. When I want something bad, ill make my boyfriend have and just steal a bite or two of his LOL that's the only way I'm going to keep myself away from French fries! You could try just one of the mini ones if the craving gets too bad. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  9. I'd imagine it would be fine as long as you can tolerate it. Certainly noting bad in it. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  10. Haven't tried it yet, but I bought a jar! Next week I'm going to try refried beans with melted cheese, salsa, and low fat sour cream Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  11. Lets not forget that, even though we all value this forum, it only gives us a very small peek into each others lives. We don't know what goes on beyond what's posted. No one should ever judge another, or be judged. But I especially don't think any of us are in any position to judge one another, seeing as how little we really know about that person. Ok that made more sense in my head, but I'm sure you get the gist LOL Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  12. Right now you probably want to rely on the clock to know when it's time to eat. I tried to stick as close to the times they brought me food in the hospital. The hunger feeling will come back as you heal. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  13. Just wondering, for those of you who are further out. Does your normal, or old, feeling of fullness ever come back? I have a hard time telling when I'm full. I can only tell when I start getting gassy, but my stomach feels the same. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13

  15. Though I'm not one to talk, cannot wait for mashed taters lol Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  16. Not so much the baked potato, it's starch which turns to sugar. But the chili is good, it's healthy and lots of Protein. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  17. I feel great! No pain meds since the hospital, already back at the gym and now on soft foods. I'm just worried about how the soft foods will effect my weight loss. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  18. According to MyFitnessPal I got 75g of Protein today. Only one Protein Drink, the rest in foods. It's all about finding foods with protein and combining them in ways that taste good. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  19. I LOVE my Ninja! Got it for Christmas and it is amazing. I got the one with the individual cups to make Protein shakes, and the larger blender. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  20. Thanks, glad I'm not alone. I think it's just me having to get used to bite size and quantity since this is just my first full day on soft foods. Never got nauseous, just overfull I think. Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  21. How do eggs affect you post-op? Tried them for the first time this morning and I am burping like crazy! (Tmi, I know) Is this normal, or are eggs just a food I may have to avoid? Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
  22. Congrats!!!! Re-Birthday: 2/27/13
