Surgery was successful. Surgeon said my stomach had a lot of trauma from th band and they had to remove some of my stomach. But he was able to do the bypass. I'm in some pain now but not tremendous.

Praying for you. I will (thank goodness) be doing the same tomorrow, along with an ovary being removed. We got this.

This morning they are taking out my band and converting me to bypass. I'm both nervous and excited, but more nervous lol. Please keep me in ur prayers.

Hi! Brand new here. My surgery is Dec 4th in Dallas Tx with Dr. Castro. I am converting from band to bypass.

The premier Protein drinks are 30 grams per drink and they are premade and only 1 gram of sugar. Only 5 grams of carbs and 160 calories. I am drinking 2 a day and also Water and sugar free popsicle's. It's very hard but I have lost 5 lbs so far. 4 more days of the diet to go then it's surgery time!

I was banded in 2006 and over the course of a year I lost 40lbs but then it stopped working. I too have small arms and legs and am huge in midsection. I look like I'm pregnant. I wish I had done rny to begin with but was too scared at the time. They are taking out the band and revising to rny all at the same time next Tuesday! I hope this time I can lose all the weight and keep it off!
