  1. So happy that I hit my goal weight of 250 pounds this week. I am down to 243. For a frame of reference I was 560 pounds, down to 427 DOS. Surgery was on October 3, 2012. I was in a 68" pant and a 7xl shirt. Wore a size 16eee shoe. Now I am In a 40" waist, XL shirts, and 13 shoe. Big difference in clothing choice as well. Just thought I would share with everyone. Happy holidays to all.

    Helpp :/

This happened to me around the same timing. It just stopped coming off. The weight that is. Came to find out that I was not absorbing enough protein. I had to spread it out further throughout the day. Once I did that the weight dropped quickly. Hope this helps with the other suggestions already made. I was getting my protein goal in, body just was bit absorbing it so I was wasting protein. Body can only handle so much at once and gets rid of the rest as waste.

    What ya eating tonight?

I had half a prime rib mini sandwich and about 3 oz meaty baked beans.

    This is getting old!

I could not eat chicken for the first 6 months post op. It made me sick just looking smelling or tasting it. Terrible food aversion. Now it is fine. Have not got anything stuck since I tried broccoli once and decided never again. It has been 14 months since my surgery and am able to eat just about anything, just not a lot.

    Friday Weigh-In!

Not sure if anyone else still uses this thread. But today I weighted myself and I am down below 250 pounds. 250 was my goal all along since I weighted almost 600 pounds three years ago. Surgery was 10/3/12 and today I am 243 pounds. Day of surgery I was 427.

    lost and confused

I am 8 months out and no longer get nauseated and feel great. It will pass and your energy will skyrocket. Took me a good six months to feel normal again, or at least a new normal.

    Friday Weigh-In!

Have not posted in quite a while, but I have lost a lot of weight. SW 560 DOS 427 CW 295 GW 250 45 more to go. Had surgery on Oct 3,2012. Had to lose over a hundred before surgery and have lost over a hundred since. Surgery saved my life and am feeling great.
  13. The gas pains SUCKED!!!!! IT WILL get better. I am feeling awesome right now. It has been almost 5 months for me.
  14. Not much more to add to what was already said, but pretty much everyone is different to what they can tolerate. I can have fruits, splenda, even sugar free pie(very rare once a month or so) and no problems at all. Only caused dumping once and that was enough. I have to stay under 20grams in a sitting, then wait several hours.
