  7. I made good food choices today and didn't drink, but man that wine was calling my name! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
  8. Just made these! I got a recipe off cooks.com. Baked 2 pie crusts. In a pan put 4 cups milk. When warm add 4 small boxes SF Vanilla pudding, 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice. When mixed well add 2 15oz cans pumpkin. Stir constantly on med heat until a lil boil. After 1 minute boil pour into cooled crust and chill 24 hrs. It's delish!! When I do it again ill probably add a lil extra pie spice.
  9. My purse fits on the car seat with me!
  10. Im sorry I didnt see this til now! All the things you are feeling are so normal! We all worry that we wont stay on the wagon after, and we will all fall off at some point. the great thing is we learn to get right back on and not let guilt send us into a downward spiral. also when you do slip, its much less because we dont have room or we dump. I know you've been working hard on your preop stuff and I know you'll make your goal and get a date! Relatioships are hard, and this process puts stress on them. Joel and I seperated for half the summer as I was preparing for this. It helped us both realize how much we love and need each other. After telling him that I needed his support unconditionally and needed him to get involved and go to group and appointments he is beginning to understand the role of food as an addiction. Never being overweight, he didnt get the internal struggle we have with food. grioup is helping him get it. I hope your hubby comes around and gets positive and supportive for you. Losing weight has improved our intimate life not only because I have lost weight, but because I have gained confidence. You will too and I hope it helps your relationship. I do agree counseling would help too. Maybe go sometimes alone and sometimes together. If you were best friends before you can get back there, as long as youre both willing to try. Love you girl! See you monday!!
  11. I am so sorry about your son! I am glad to hear you are getting back on track and getting abck to the basics. This site is a great motivator and wealth of info. Glad you found us and welcome!!!

  13. Dont keep it a secret! Just tell them this is your decision and whats best for you. tell them you need thier support during this life changing time. we need all the support we can get thru this, esp from our close family. idk what i would do without my husband and mothers support thru this.
  14. Dont take it like that! Im sure it was a compliment! I know we are new at the whole accepting compliments thing, but we will learn.. Its like when someone sas you have a pretty face, they mean well but sound like a tard. lol!
  15. Loved Zumba when I did it!! I gotta get back to that!

  17. Wow! You're doing great! CONGRATS!! What do u do for exercise? I'm in need of ideas.
  18. I was told no flying for six weeks for risk of clots.
  19. You can take Milk of mag for immediate relief. 6 hrs or so. I take 4-5 senakot tablets a day to keep me regular. They are half laxative half softener. I buy the generic at target.
  20. I thought I would be sick and not tolerate food. I thought I would mourn food. I thought it would not work for me, like every other diet. I thought my relationships would change. BUT! I feel great. I'm sticking to the plan. I like what I'm eating. I'm losing nice and steady. My relationships are only improving as my confidence grows. I have yet to master the exercise piece. I do more now than before, and am working on it daily. This is truly life changing and I feel so blessed. Praise God!
