  1. Organic winter squash with light country crock and some sweet n low. Didn't go down well so I stopped and drank a protein shake instead. Much better!!

  3. I sent my email to you earlier in this thread and you responded I believe two or three months ago but I didn't choose to participate at the time and would really like to join now. My email is amcdowell779@yahoo.com. Please email me and let me know what I need to do. Thanks so much!!
  4. Great job!! You look amazing. I hope I look half as good as you do when I'm 6 months out. I'm only 2 weeks out but down 11 lbs and two sizes. Keep up the hard work!!
  5. Ugh. My husband came home with a quarter pounder and fries from McDonalds today and the smell was HORRIBLE. It smelled so greasy. Yuck!!
  6. I'm feeling really good. I wasn't too bad after surgery except for the fact I couldn't eat. Anything. I was crazy for awhile but now that the weight is going down daily, I'm feeling much better. I have my energy back and just learning how to eat my puréed foods without getting sick. Hopefully you'll feel better soon! Just stay on top of your pain meds and walk and sip, sip, sip!!!
  7. Good luck. Only hours away now!! Yay! Don't give in and eat anything tonight or you'll get really sick!! It'll all be over before you know it.
  8. I'd like to know more about those shots you mentioned earlier. 4oz with 40 grams of protein?? That's amazing!! What are they called and where can they be found?? Thanks.
  9. I'm 2 weeks post op by the way.
  10. Definitely agree. I'm having the same issue. Everything is making me nauseated too. Yuck!!
  11. Good question. Probably not since its so tough but who knows. Would be nice though.
  12. 1st pic is pre op. 2nd pic is today, 2 weeks post op. I'm starting to see some weight come off in my face. I'm down 11 lbs since surgery, 32 lbs all together. I'm down from a size 26 in pants to a 22. So it's working..yay!!
  13. By the way my username on MFP is amcdowell779. Please feel free to add me. I just sent out a bunch of friend requests to ya'll on here. My name is Aimee McDowell, if you're wondering who I am..lol.
  14. I gained on my diet too. We are all human. I am just over two weeks post op, so I made it and you will too. The pre op dieting is the hardest part but its worth it. It's ok to make mistakes once in awhile.
  15. Worm2872-- you are looking amazing by the way!! How far out are you?
  16. Down 2 sizes and wearing some new clothes!!
  17. Wow you look great!! Keep it up!!
  18. Well it's my first day back to work. I've been here two hours now and doing pretty well. Kind of tired but overall ok. My coworkers acted like nothing had happened. Didn't ask a single question and they're all well aware of what I was having done. Some people are so rude. One of them keeps talking about her 8 lb weight loss in the last 4 days. I don't acknowledge them when they act like that to me. I went to the Mall of America on Sunday and did really good but we took lots of sitting breaks all day. I'm feeling good. Hope you all are also.
  19. Well I'm down 9 lbs from surgery on the 8th for a total of 30 lbs today!! I can't believe I've lost that much already but I sure can tell. My stomach seems to be smaller which is awesome. I'm having trouble eating though. Everyday I'm throwing up at some point. I guess it's just a learning process as to how I'm eating and what I'm eating. It's just so discouraging sometimes. I almost cried today but held back. Anyways I'm just taking it day by day. Everyday seems to get a little easier.
  20. I had surgery the 8th. My crab cakes may have had bread crumbs but I couldn't tell that there was. Ill have to check the ingredients in them tomorrow.
  21. Tried to do about a 2 oz. crab cake but it did not agree with me and came right back up. Might try something later tonight.
  22. Good luck to the rest of you in April. I had my surgery April 8th so I'm on day 12 post op. struggling with the liquids because that's all it is. Not enough variety, but I'm trying to buy different soups and strain them and purée them just for different tastes. I'm sorry to hear some of you are experiencing pain. It does get better every day. I'm having very little pain at my incision sites but nothing inside. I went bowling today- carefully- and did just fine. Only one game though. Well good luck everyone!! Your day will be here before you know it.
