  1. You look amazingly happy! I love the mural on the back wall...
  2. Well. ..now I am coming past 10 months. I had slowed to 5-7 lbs per month and now have gained 3 lbs and am in a major stall. I am so frustrated. Nothing lost in a month. thinking about doing a week long fast with only liquids. ..but it so kills my energy levels.
  3. It does. . But hubby can enjoy them and you can go for the saucy meat.
  4. I rode my bike for 30 minutes today.
  5. Talk to your doctor. But I would think 6 weeks
  6. You need to do 1 oz per 10 min... you will dehydrate and need hospitalization at that rate that you are doing.
  7. They scope you and dilate you with a mild sedative.
  8. Sounds like a stricture-mine got so bad I couldn't even drink fluids.-had it twice.
  9. No..I think you are fine. Just eat it slow.
  10. Our hospital has an event called "the centurion" (sp) to mark the loss of over 100 lbs. I am flying out there. Hundreds of people...and you speak. Pretty awesome event.
  11. You know...I guess the important thing its moderation. How big a bag? I confess. I crave chocolate now. But I watch my calories, count my carbs, and watch the scale. Peanut m&m's at least have a little protein. And you know. ..I bet each of us eat things we shouldn't eat. Its one step at a time...one day at a time.
  12. ya gotta force more down. Your kidneys will shut down and you could damage your liver.
  13. Depends how far out you are. Chinese- Soup like egg drop or hot and sour. Then a shrimp, fish, crab, or scallops dish and eat the meat. don't eat the rice. Mexican. ..I like their Soups, abondigas I think its called. Its a meal on its own. Or, I get a single cheese or bean enchilda with guac on the side. You aren't eating huge...but a small enchilada is doable after several months. I prefer the green sauce. And yup. I can eat a few chips with the guac. Its my extravagance. Sandwich places- your in trouble unless you can do soup and salad with don't own the side. Qdobas- love their kids meals and get their gumbo or their tortilla soup.
  14. Pasta and rice are hard for me. Even 9 months out I can only eat a few mouthfuls.
  15. My husband did the same thing.it sux.
  16. I wouldn't take crackers. ...take something with protein. ..small cheese slices or cold cuts, I.e. ham and turkey cut in small wedges...like an inch at the edge. Laughing cow light cheese...and the chili idea was great. Eating soup made me feel normal.
  17. Roast beef with a mushroom gravy. Asparagus- grilled, on the side.
