The breakup wasn't for long I have been with him for 6 years and we have issues, like he really hasn't had a job for 6 ears other then a few months and I told him to shape up or ship out tired of paying for everything.
  2. I have mostly been on the Facebook September Members page, life is going. I am down 75 pounds since surgery in sept. My relationship with my boyfriend of 6 years has been rocky so I been dealing with that. And now that I don't have food I feel lost and bored and find myself depressed trying to work through it. Nice to see someone notices I haven't been on in awhile.
  3. I'm a nurse in a ER and took 4 weeks off and should of taken 6 weeks and still I was extremely tired my first 2 weeks back at work and was only able to work 8 hours not a full 12, if your job is physically demanding take as much time as possible trust me

So today I broke up with my boyfriend of 6 years. Just sick of all the bull he has put me through not sure if its because I have more confidence from losing weight or has nothing to do with me weight loss, kinda numb about the whole thing.
  5. I am taking it and it doesn't seem to have any effect on it
  6. Just worry abouts fluids Hun food will come in time. I read on here where people used sugar free chocolate syrup for there meds crushed, or try to take your pills whole with a good sip.
  7. I had a plateau at about week 3 and stayed at the same weight for almost 2 weeks I wanted to cry and thought I did the surgery for nothing and I'm not gunna lose anymore, then bam started losing again and I hadn't changed a thing. Don't worry you will lose weight with time as long as your eating and drinking everything your suppose to and will lose even faster if you exercise.
  8. I am 3 months post op and totally agree excersis is the key. I lossmuch more when I work out then on the weeks I was lazy
  9. I am a band to RNY, almost 3 months out and had no restriction with my band and with the RNY I do. I have had all the fun stuff like dumping and foamies and have eaten to much and payed for it. I was worried that the RNY wouldn't work for me since the lap band didn't but was wrong its working great 51 pounds down.
  10. Starting weight 270 today's weight 219 down 51 pounds and loving it only 69 pounds to go for my goal.
  11. I did the optifast when I did my lap band surgery 2 years ago and was unable to do the 4 weeks I ate a meal a day along with drinking the shakes.
  12. I took 4 weeks off should of taken 6 but I'm a nurse in an ER so I'm on my feet 12 hours nonstop and lots of lifting so. I don't have a hallow place where my port was.
  13. I know how you feel I can't even enjoy food anymore cuz a bite and I'm full it's like what's even the point. But me liking to eat to much food is what got me into this mess so I think it's kinda for the best.
  14. I some times get sad out of no where and have found it's due to I'm bored and no longer fill that with food so I'm kinda lost with what to do.
  15. My opionion yes yer doctor is insane. I would clarify with him if he doesn't perscribe narcotics as a standard order or at all. Because the no option of narcotics I wouldn't get it done. I was in a lot of pain after surgery and I have had 2 c-section and found this surgery to be more painful.
  16. One should be plenty
  17. Are you taking reglan or compazine ? They made it to where I couldn't sleep but was exhausted. Which can be a side effect of the meds.
  18. I never had any restriction with Water until 2 weeks ago and I am 8 weeks post op, I never gulped but took way bigger drinks then I do now. Now with food if its something I have to chew I get full in a few bites but with puréed or yogurt I never have restriction hopes this helps.
