  1. Does anyone reside in Texas? Or more so the DFW area? Just curious, but also want to find a workout/encouraging partner!!
  2. Still in the Purée/Soft food stage. I guess Soup is always an option. But I'm here 3 days and I almost can guarantee they will figure something is up when I order soup for lunch and dinner everyday.
  3. So I'm in Atlanta for business and I'm looking at the agenda and it's mostly "Breakfast, meeting, lunch, meeting, Dinner" Everything is food, I don't know how I'm going to get away with it this trip! It's my first time traveling after surgery and I forgot how much eating at resturants there is!!! Anyone have any suggestions on what to get at resturants so I don't look like a jerk at the end of the table not eating?
  4. I don't know how long liquid actually stays in the pouch. I had a X-Ray done on my pouch, they had me take a shot of chalk and it went down my throat through my pouch and in to my intestine. It never settled in my pouch. I think the whole stretching out the pouch is a myth.
  5. Hope u feel better ASAP!
  6. I started this journey at 344lbs. Day of surgery (7/24/2012) 333lbs. Today I weighed in at 300.4. So I have lost 32.6lbs since surgery. 43.6 since the start of this journey.
  7. Hopefully they took care of the bleeding!!! Get better soon!! Prayers and well wishes coming your way!!
  8. Hello everyone. They found the source of the bleeding and fixed it. It was a second endoscopy that found it in my pouch. Going home soon!!! hopefully this is the last hiccup in this bleeding escapade. Worst thing is I have to start on Clear liquids again... Was set to start purée food tomorrow. Thanks to every single prayer and well wish! My family and of course myself apperciate it far beyond words!!!
  9. Wow, thank you to everyone who sent prayers and gave well wishes!!! This is a unbelievable support group!! Well I stayed overnight and they ran several test, CT scan, EGB, X-Ray, blood checks.. They still can't determine where the blood is coming from. I'm still in the Hosp, don't know when I will get out. That's my update so far... Still kind of feel like I'm still in the same spot I was in when I got here, bleeding but don't know where... I cherish each prayer and well wishing!!! Thanks so much! I will update hopefully soon!
