Post Op. /. I Never Want To Have Broth Again In My Life!
- Had My First Bite
I have that feeling about eggs.- Urine Catherter? :/
I had one placed during my hystorectomy and I am goin to be honest I hated every minute of it. It felt like there was pressure and I could not get comfortable. I did like that I could just relax and pee, but the it was not worth the feeling of pressure and discomfort. It did not hurt coming out at all though.- Drinking
I will say that my pouch will let me know if I drink to much. This may sound bad, but throwing up water is so easy compared to food. I will happily throw up water!- Drinking
I really base it on how my stomach is feeling that day and what time of day it is. It seems mornings I have to sip, but as the day progresses I can drink more and more with each drink.- Very Cold
My doc said that is normal- Advice Needed
My hubby was very scared about the surgery. He supported me 100%, but was so nervous. The night before my surgery he said he did not sleep at all. I had my parents calm him down during the surgery. I had to finally tell him he wa increasing my anxiety about everything and needed him to calm down. Just be open and honest with him. Talking things out is the best way!- Workouts After Wls
Think about getting the wii fit. It has a lot you can do as well. Yoga, strength, endurance and etc- Weird Pain. Help!
Most doctors do their heavy work on the left side for the rny. So it is normal to have pain on that left side. However call your doctors office and make sure!- Not Losing Weight
I have found that when I introduce new foods I stall for about a week. I think it is completly normal!- Smelly Gas
Get some gas x or beano.- Bladder Infections
My urine color is usually pretty clear, but sometimes it will change darker. I know the clear is what I want, and watch my color everytime.- Bladder Infections
I have had a bladder infection that I'm taking medication for, but can't get rid of. My obgyn said it is common amoung bypass because of being dehydrated. Anyone else having this issue? I am drinking about 64 oz of water a day if not more. I only drink water. I have not had tea in weeks and have not had a soda in months. My rny was June 5th.- A Little Encouragement To Those Who Are Struggling
I am 8 weeks- A Little Encouragement To Those Who Are Struggling
I just wanted to give everyone a little encouragement that are having issues. Three weeks ago I was sick everyday an felt like I would never eat normal again. I regreted my decision everyday to have this surgery. I cried at the doctors office and generally felt horrible everyday. I got tired of hearing it will get better just hang in there. Well I have come out the other side and feel great. I am now getting protein in by whole foods and I have been able to eat almost everything I wanted to. So in conclusion stay strong and remember the reason you had the surgery. It will get better and although you can not see it now you will be happy you did this. Yesterday I put on a pair of pants that were always too tight to be comfortable and they were almost too big for me!!!- Not A Loser But A Staller....:( (Aka Failure)
Always remember that exercising increases your muscle mass and that weighs more than fat. I have struggled with losing as well. I am 8 weeks post op and I am down 37 pounds I can't seem to say goodbye to the 220's!- Sick...
I had that and I hate to tell you but it is still going on three weeks later. Everyone keeps saying it gets better.- Stall
Remember when you work out you are building muscle and muscle is heavier than fat- Burping Not Eating?
I would talk with your doctor.- Help :/
My mom used to be a corrmen in the navy and she always told me if a sore is itching it means it is healing.- Hard Time....
I have had a rough time as well. I am throwing up about once a day. It is frustrating to watch people eat and all you think about is - if I eat that I will get so sick. The weight loss is nice, but I am ready to eat good again. Everyone says it will get better, and I really want to push the - easy button an be back to my new normal.- Soccer After Rny
I played soccer last night for the first time since the surgery. Everything went well except staying hydrated. My mouth was so dry and if I drank water I got nauseated. So my question is has anyone returned to a sport or just working out had this issue and what did you do to overcome it.- Sick Of Feeling Sick
Talk to your doctor. I had the same issues last week and with the help of phenergan and reglan and today I feel much better- What Is It Like?
My relationship changed with food in a big way. Due to my nausea and vomiting I actually dread eating. I am not hungry anymore which is wonderful. I still have bad cravings and never noticed how many commercials and tv shows that have food. The hardest thing is being around people that can eat whatever. - Had My First Bite
