My incision sight is really itchy any advice

My doctor told me to use cortisone after the 2nd week. Before 2 weeks you have to have doc chk to make sure no infection.

My mom used to be a corrmen in the navy and she always told me if a sore is itching it means it is healing.

Yes, itching is a sign of healing. The nerve endings are working again. Do you still have any steristrips or bandages on? That would Aldo cause itching. Don't scratch and try ice to numb. If the incisions are closed fully, try preparation h. I used it on mosquito bites. Numbs the itch and reduces swelling. Good luck!!

I have no bandages just the incision glue over and they all seem to be closed up some more then others..... I'm probably going to wait til Tuesday once I go for my check up ...... Thank you
