  9. Okay because I'm the type of person looks to have my ducks in a row. I have my psychologist and surgeron appointments next week and I really like to have a rough idea of what's going to happen. I know each person has there own experience but I figure/assume there is some basics that they all follow. So if someone or someones can give me an idea of is going to happen...I would love it! Thanks. The psychologist told me that my appointment will be about 3-4 hours. Is that normal? I don't think I can talk about myself for that long...I'm actually quite boring! lol Then I figure the surgeron is a meet and greet type appointment and then will discuss why I'm here and what surgery would be best for me kind of thing. Any help would be lovely! Thanks y'all!

  16. Hey y'all! I've in finally got the junk to join y'all in your chatters!! Cliff note verison of my story. I've been thinking about WLS for February 2012 on and off, until May 2012 when I started to slowly research things. Search out websites, books, and everything. So with the support of my handsome hubby we went to an info session at MUSC, Tuesday June 5. Asked him which surgery he liked the best. He was leaning told the vertical sleeve and so was I. But I was teetering on the edge of RNY or Sleeve. So I turn in my paperwork, get the ball rolling on that end. I got a call yesterday, June 7, saying they got my paper work and were going to pass it. And today I spoke with my dietitian and then for my call to meet and talk with my Doc one on one ad figure the best route for me. So I meet with him on June 21, 2012!!! Yay! I'm so excited! And I've decided I'm going with the RNY gastric bypass. I figure I'm the go big or go home type of gal! I want to live around for a loooong time, so why not go with most chance for weight loss! So thanks for reading! And hope to see y'all around!
