  1. Your scared we are human that is what we do. But I think judging from all the post op people here that we will make it. My surgeon only takes people that will be a good statistic for him.....you will be fine. Your dr doesn't want to lose anyone he is who your trusting. Have faith and know we are cheering you on.

  5. I have read they cut nerves in our stomach so in the beginning we won't feel hungry but it will come back. I would really try to get your protein in anyway you can. If the ground beef works great. We were told by our NUT 120g of protein a day. How much ground beef would you need to eat? Syntax nectar is a f ruity type protein you can put in stuff maybe try some samples of that. What about broth or soup with unjury flavor free protein? Good luck!
  6. Try it on a flatout they made them with Italian seasoning and plain wheat ones. I use them forizzas vs a tortilla they are thinner vs a tortilla and have fiber in them.
  7. I heard it is the honeymoon phase. Our nerves are cut in the surgery when they come back we will feel hunger again. I would make sure your getting your protein and liquids in daily. As much as you can in the beginning but as time goes on it is a must I have been told. Good luck!

  9. All our surgeons are so different. Some don't require a liquid diet so I think you will be fine! Good luck!
  10. My ins. Required a 6 month weight loss plan followed by a Dr. Once I did that my other tests were done so 6 months. Just waiting on more $ and I will have my surgery!

  12. I use plain Greek yogurt with SF FF Davinci syrups. They have all kinds of favors and you can make your own flavored yogurt. I also eat Kroger brand carb master yogurt. I am eating cheery as I type this here are the stats. Cal 60 Fatal 10 Total fat 1.5 Sat fat 1g Trans fat 0 Cholesterol 10 mg Sodium 100 mg Potassium 140 mg Total carb 4g Fiber 0 Sugars 3G Protein 8g If you want more protein use
