Another Newbie

I, I'm Kim. I'm 46 years old and working towards my surgery. Thanks for having the forums. The only 2 issues I'm looking at is I'm on 4 different antidepressants and must find out if they are crushable or switch meds. I'm also a 20+ year smoker. I quit 7 days ago along with coffee. My surgeon nicotine tests. Thank you for having me :)

Welcome to the group

Welcome! Any type of pill can be crushed with a pill crusher you can purchase in CVS, walmart, walgreens etc. if the pills you take don't come in liquid form. After surgery, crushed pills can be mixed in unsweetened applesauce, but it def doesn't taste good lol!

Talk to the doctor that prescribed the meds and let him/her look into prescribing liquid forms and or crushable alternatives for the time release ones. When is your anticipated date of surgery?
