  1. I had to take b12 shots, 2 pre op, 2 post op. they also have me on a multi-vitamin, b12 sublingual, high dose iron, probiotic, vitamin d and calcium chews. When I was released from the hospital, they told to continue all (ugh!) vitamins until my post op appointment.
  2. I was talking about the OnQ. It was in my lower right abdomen, not my chest.
  3. He can repair it during surgery, no big deal. I have one also that is getting repaired. Just make sure it is in your file that they will repair it at time of surgery.
  4. For my bloodwork, they took 9 vials of blood. The only thing that came back was Vitamin defiencies. I'm taking more Vitamins and getting b12 shots. I wouldn't stress about it too much.
  5. My doctor said forever. It is a life-style change. The reasoning is that you swallow air when you use a straw or chew gum and the air will a) take up valuable space on your pouch and end up stretching your pouch out.
  6. Thanks! I think I'm going to go!
  7. My RNY surgery is scheduled for June 13th and there is a concert I would like to attend on June 21st, eight days after my surgery. It is a country concert, so real low key and I will be able to sit for the most part. I was wondering if any of you felt you would have been up for something like that so soon after your surgery. We hardly ever get concerts where I am, so I would really like to go. It will probably be my only chance to see this artist. Thanks for the advice!
