Home again and I made a discovery. My pouch likes warm fluids not ice. So drinking is getting easier sipping things warm.
Since I have been home the damn diarrhea has eased up thank god.

I am down 18.4 lbs since my pre-op visit!!!!!

Hi everyone! So I'm officially post op!!! Thank you guys for thinking of me.. I was to drugged up to be on my iPad or phone last night. I had a bit of a scare in the recovery room something bout my heart thankfully they took some labs and the cardio dr cleared that this am! I'm walking, sipping...walking and peeing ... Not sure how I'm laying here on my side but my back was hurting earlier...YAY for the completion of our September Members!! U guys are so awesome!!!

On the TMI front can I just say farting has never been this pleasurable

For sleeping on your side put a pillow underneath your belly it helps a lot.

I am almost 3 weeks post op and feeling good starting at a gym tomorrow for cardio then strength training in 2 weeks. Starting work back on Oct 10th which I kinda can't wait for I been kinda bored at home. I work in a ER though so I'm sure once I'm back ill want to leave again. Will have to bring my lunches which I have never been good at so it will probable be Protein Drinks and simple stuff to bring. Pain is pretty much all gone now and feeling like my normal self.

Well here it is went from a 4x to a extra large in a month and a half not that it is the loosest thing but hey I'm feeling good
I love all of you and pray form you everyday y'all keep me going and I was wondering if anyone has had any weird dreams about like eating a whole pizza or carbs or things like that I am and these are the same dreams I had after is or put of rehab so it reaffirms that my Eatin habits were in fact a addiction sorry about how my room looks and I think I'll go ahead and put a before pic with it in in my undies so I'm sorry if anyone gets sick!!

Surgery 9/24/12 344

Hey guys surgery went well I get to go home later today. The first day pain wise was the worst. It's crazy I'm 2 days post op n I can lay on my side I'm a happy camper because laying on my butt all the time has been making it Hurt.

WTF!!! that s a bunch of bullshit... they better pay you back pay for all thge day you were out of work!! HIPPA rights girl it is no ones business just get a letter from your dr that your had surgery... im sorry this is happening to your,,, i hope things turn around for you,,,

I'm home!!!
Tuesday morning we had some construction and car accidents that we had to get through but we go to the hospital a little late but safe. Surgery went perfect. I was in recovery for about an hour. Went to my room and finally got to see my husband. We walked and spent some time together and then he went home to the kids. I tried to sleep but couldn't so I walked, would doze in and out. The nurses were shocked that I was walking so much, in some pain but managed it with meds and wanted to get out of the hospital so of course I wanted them to know I was able to be released.
I had my x-ray to make sure my lap band had no leakage. The drinks they made me sip...NASTY! But lap band is working perfectly! My husband and 2 of our girls came to pick me up but I had to wait to drink my lunch and made sure everything stayed down. Now i'm home and am happy to be able to sleep in my own bed.
Oh I forgot to mention with working out and the liquid diet I lost 14 pounds!!
