  1. I did thee exact same thing with water. Its really a learning curve. We have to go slow and know when to stop.
  2. I had my first post op visit today and I can't even believe I lost 24 pounds in 8 days. OMG! The good thing is that I really needed something positive to hear, because I have been feeling like this maybe was a mistake. I keep telling myself this is a new healthier lifestyle that I needed. I encourage everyone to take it a day at a time. I don't think dwelling on the past or anticipating the future will do any good. Day by day is my motto. Lol
  3. I never heard of that either. They put the booties on me and gave me Heparin shots in my arms. Good luck with everything babe.

  5. I see my surgeon next Tuesday and I really can't wait to start pureed foods. I really love Cottage Cheese. I am running out of clear liquids to eat. Lol I am 4 days post op and feel really good.
  6. Hope you are doing well after the surgery. Lots of luck sweety!
  7. Hey Everyone, I just had surgery on Monday April 9 and so far so good. I am trying to get used to not picking on the food I cook for my family of 5. I still have a passion for cooking, but my mental state is different and ready for this decision I made to change my life. Reading all of the forums really made me feel like I wasn't alone. This is a great place to share your success stories!!! I will be posting before and after pics soon, but not soon enough for me. Lol
