1St Post Op Visit Today

I had my first post op visit today and I can't even believe I lost 24 pounds in 8 days. OMG! The good thing is that I really needed something positive to hear, because I have been feeling like this maybe was a mistake. I keep telling myself this is a new healthier lifestyle that I needed. I encourage everyone to take it a day at a time. I don't think dwelling on the past or anticipating the future will do any good. Day by day is my motto. Lol

Wow...that's terrific! Congratulations. I think it's natural to question if you made the right decision, but in the end it's definitely right as the outcome is a healthier life.

Congratulations! I can't wait my date is April 23rd.

congrats im 12 days out n down 30lbs! i know the weight loss is crazy right? lol. i kno how ur feelin bout tryin to think positive. i spent 4 nights in the hospital after surgery. 2 more than normal cuz of pnemonia. went home n felt alright. but i was so out of breath the other night i called my doc n he sent me to the hospital. ive been here 2 nights with advanced pnemonia and a liquid/ air pockets near my stomach. deff discouraging but i keep saying my prayers. def a day at a time is the only way to go. sometimes even an hr at a time lol.
