I am in Houston and I had my sleeve done by Dr.Robert Marvin (Houston Surgical Specialists) September 30th 2013 I have had zero complications and the whole process was extremely smooth.

You're feelings are totally normal. We've all been there thinking what the hell have I gotten myself into? It's so hard not to worry and think the worst which honestly doesn't happen that often. Try hard to switch your thinking. Think about all the beautiful reasons why you're doing it- starting with being a better you for yourself and your family. Think about all of the things you want to do but can't do now that you will be able to do in a very short amount of time (things change very quick postop- the weight literally falls off). June 25th seems like a long time off, but it's right around the corner. You will be a new more amazing you than you've been in a long time and it will be more than worth it. Thank you guys for sharing your photos! I'm 4 months out and it really helps to see folks have such success. I've still got some lbs to lose but I'm headed in the right direction.

At 34, I am definitively party of the flirty, dirty thirties! Lol I am scheduled to be sleeved on 12/17/13. I am very excited to be making this change before my 35th birthday. I lost all this weight for my 30th birthday celebration & I felt great about myself. And I gained it all back as well. Now, I have an opportunity to make permanent changes to bring in the next chapter of my life before leaving my thirties and entering my forties. I welcome this experience with open arms and I am hopeful that it will create some much needed changes in my life.
