  1. I only had to do one week. I drank 5 optifast or protein shakes/day. I ate a lot of diet jello and popsicles @ night. Good luck!

Hi, I just joined so just saw your post. Pre-banding I as a total Fresca addict. I had to have it w/lunch & dinner & at least 2 big glass @ a time. If the store was out of it, I went into a major depression. But my depression was worse @ weighing 232 lbs! So, since my banding, I've had NO carbinated beverages & am a new fan of Cristal Lite yellow lemonade. I bought the little paper viles of them & keep them @ work to add to bottles of water & I love it. I have no problem waiting an hour after eating to drink anything. Snapple also has a new diet flavor, half lemonade & half iced tea. It's pretty good & some bandsters I know love it. Good Luck!
  3. I used Dr. Ortiz (but in TJ cause I didn't have the time to go to Cancun) and I absolutely love him & Dr. Martinez. I heard it is a little nicer in Cancun, but TJ was perfectly fine. My daughter (17yrs old, 209 lbs.) is seriously asking for the band, & I wouldn't hesitate to take her to Dr. Ortiz. If we have time, we'd go to Cancun & make it a vacation, but it looks like it will be TJ again!
