Hello Fello Eights, I thought I was doing fine. Had band placed 8/16. Went well. Went to post op appt on 9/6. Had staples removed and the big ok to return to work. Talked to my doctor about my slowly returning hunger and when I could get my first fill, he said 6 weeks. So my first fill was to be on 10/22 but the doctors office called me today to cancel my appointment for 10/22 and make another one. (doctor schedule changed) The soonest they have for me is NOVEMBER 12. I AM STARVING TO DEATH!!!!!! I am going nuts and am at the end of my rope. How can you use this tool if you can not get it to work. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you all for being here when we need it most. :cry

I was banded on 8/16/2007. Had my post op appt to have the staples removed and cleared to return to workon9/6/2007. I asked when I could schedule for my first fill and he said 6 weeks. I am starving!!! My appt was set for 10/22/2007 and today I got a call from the doctors office to reschedule because the doctor has meetings that afternoon. Guess when the next available appt is? NOVEMBER 12th. I do not think I can stand to wait that long. Anyone have any suggestions? :faint:

I was banded on the 16 and I have the same thing. I also feel like my tongue is raw. I have no idea why. Sorry.

I am BANDED!!!!!!:clap2: I became one with my band on 8/16 and I am doing fine. Really sore, and very painful getting up or lying down.:crutch: I am on clear liquids for 1 week. Then 2 weeks of full liquids. The last 3 weeks are the mushies. Can't wait. lol. Take care, and I am praying for all of you :hug:
