  1. All I was told was that I'd be contacted in seven to ten days with the results and to set up a machine if needed. I'm pretty sure I need on just by the fact that she'd said they'd come in there in the middle of the night and put me on one if I had too many "episodes". Well, that's what they did. Came in and hooked me up.
  2. It was not too bad. They put about 20 sensors stuck all over my body and this gummy crap in my hair to make those sensors stick. Then I had to lay down in a room that looked like a hotel room and try to sleep on my back. I didn't really sleep well at all. At all. Next thing I know she's coming in with a CPAP mask and explaining it to me. She puts it on and I'm ok at first but I ripped it off twice as I was sleeping because I felt claustrophobic. However, I got more sleep with it on that without. All in all, it was just an awkward sleeping experience at worst. April
  3. Or you could be burning fat and in ketosis. Your breath, body odor etc. will smell different. After sweating you may even have a strong ammonia smell.
  4. Ok. I guess now it will
  5. My iPhone app won't let me send pm's. Won't let me start a new thread or respond to a current one. Anyone else having problems?
  6. Ok, I haven't been sleeved yet, but I see those types of posts constantly. Constantly. This DOES need to be "stickied" or something because this is something that happens every day. Sometimes I'll read that someone a month out is worried because they were able to eat half a jr burger and think they may have done something wrong and tons of others are saying "just get back on the wagon" and I guess I'm the only b***h reading it because all I'm thinking is WHY THE f**k ARE YOU EATING A BURGER??? I don't come here to be coddled. I want the truth. Black and white. If I EVER eat some crap I shouldn't or do something stupid that will endanger me or my chances at weight loss I hope someone slaps me upside the head, not tell me it's ok because "everyone" does it. April -end rant-
  7. In the baby food section. They are almost a firm meringue consistency until you put them in your mouth.
  8. I was just about to write what Mouse said, but she beat me to it. NOT having the surgery is what I'd be worried more about.
  9. Hangin' with a guy Go me!!!
  10. Oh, nice pick! The Rock is a hottie. I wonder if GI Joe will let me shoot off his gun?

  16. Yes!!!! Can we make our beds into bunk beds so we can have more room for activities???
  17. Hmmm. U didn't call her the "c" word. Can I?
  18. Lol. You're welcome. I went over and over so many things with my Dr and Nut that it's running out my ears.
  19. Do not say gall bladder unless it is being removed at the same time. Most sleevers end up having theirs removed later. Then how would you explain having your gall bladder removed when you already told them you had it removed six months ago? Most people go with hernia repair.
  20. I hope like hell you told the doc what she said. First off, that is illegal. Even insinuating what you are there for is in violation of HIPPA policy. The doctor NEEDS to know what this staff member said and that others heard her. Even if you have to call back, do so. If the Dr's nurse calls back you need to ask that you speak directly to the Dr about a violation of HIPPA policy. The Dr will then definitely get on the line or return your call. Trust me, it will be nipped in the bud.
