  1. You got this buddy. We're here cheering you on
  2. I'd buy just a very few samples of the bariatric advantage. They upset my stomach something awful and taste like ass.
  3. Lol. I was about to ask the same thing.
  4. The first thing is do is check for a fever. Do you have one? Then call your surgeon's office.
  5. Post op most Drs mainly worry about getting your fluids in. Not Protein. The first 2 weeks are usually focused on keeping you hydrated above all else. I tried a variety of shakes and most were disgusting to me, made me sick or the texture was too difficult. I found the RTD Premier and Muscle Milk the only ones I can stand. I try and stick with the Premier Bc it has the most protein. A lot of people like Isopure. It counts as a clear liquid and is packed with protein. I couldn't deal with it. To me, it was nasty as heck. I am sticking with the Premier and Muscle Milk
  6. I'd go to the hospital. I bet u need an IV infusion. Once you're not so dehydrated I bet you'll feel better.

I couldn't. Heck, I'd wear my vibrator out first.
  8. I didn't mean to hit send yet. Ugh. Anyway, I think though, that meds are absorbed in the intestines so it's probably ok. April
  9. Personally, I wait so it doesn't wash out.
  10. I'm so sorry. Please, please stay on your acid reducer so this does not happen again. I wish you the best and "break a leg"!
  11. She's been watching "My 600 pound story" or something like that. I'm gonna have to check it out. My 600 pound Life. Not story. Oopsie
  12. ROAR. It's even my ringtone to keep me motivated. Lol
  13. Y'all are so much nicer than I am. Lol
  14. Haha! I had my neighbor say that. I said "you drink a shake for breakfast and have a small piece of meat and some spinach for lunch n dinner for the rest of your life and see how long it works for you". She shut her mouth after that.
  15. Mine worked with me like a champ.
  16. I'm allergic to most adhesives and I also had one. It wasn't so bad where people couldn't see it, but on my face were those red itchy blotches from where they stick those sensor things. Awful.
  17. Emergen-c. It'll nip it in the bud.
  18. I think it's different for different people. I went thru a bariatric center and the final thing I do is meet back up with my surgeon and talk about any final questions I have, etc. I start a 2 week preop diet the next day and then my surgery. They were offering to have my surgery this month but it wasn't good for me so we scheduled it for feb 18.
  19. Wet wipes is a good one!! Adding that to my list. Thanks
  20. We'll, estrogen is stored in your fat cells and is released as you burn fat. Estrogen creates so many of our emotions. So I definitely see that part of it.
  21. My sister had her surgery in Mexico because she was a self-pay. She had better care in mx than anywhere we've had surgery in the US. When her pain meds were making her nauseated they switched it to something else. She also was given pain meds for home but didn't need them.
  22. And don't forget, estrogen is stored in fat and as you burn fat, that estrogen is released. As you lose your hormones are crazy. This is normal. Don't beat yourself up over it. Take it day by day and you'll feel better.
  23. mine wouldn't Bc it raises your heart rate in many patients.
