macman got a reaction from Kindle in Shakes long term?
I have been on one Protein shake a day for about a year.
I am 10 months post surgery and I actually enjoy making my own Protein shakes using combinations of Protein powders, fruit, and Torani sugar free syrups. Six days a week I start the day with 30+ grams of protein, which keeps me full for about three to four hours.
I was on a full liquid diet for about six weeks after surgery because of a complication, and used ready to drink shakes. I have not had one of those for about 9 months. They are very convenient but are limited in flavor profile.
My NUT does not have a problem with what I am doing, in fact she suggested it. It works well with my active lifestyle

Frustrated that I'm so close to goal, but not quite there. I am happy I'm not gaining, though. I briefly flirted with losing a pound this week - but ended up back where I started.
Great news this week was that I have a new granddaughter (born on Halloween)! I'm looking forward to many active years with her.

I had the sleeve operation 8 months ago at 58years old. I wold absolutely do it over again. I am much more active and regularly exercise. I had high blood pressure, knee and back issues and used a CPAP. All gone! Wish I did this sooner, I know I have added years to my life

Down 5 pounds since last weighin (10 days ago). Lost the 4 I had gained on my carbfest vacation plus an extra pound. Even though I didn't mean to do it, hitting the 100 pound mark still feels pretty cool!

I started at a high of 362 lbs. Surgery was on 12/23/13. My current weight is 218 lbs. My total weight loss has been 144 pounds!
Weight loss has slowed considerably but is still happening. Hit my goal of 230 in July but still moving slowly downward.

Sleeved 12/31/21013, I've lost 78 lbs (232 to 154 lbs). I'm very happy with the results.
I'm finding myself more hungry some days and having cravings. I'm working out a lot, though, and generally eating healthier. I don't want any gains!
