    August Sleevers?

Sometimes. I feel depressed that i can't eat what my family is eating for dinner. Not I remove myself from the table. It's not fair to my kids to complain so I just say I'm not feeling well and go in my room till they are done eating. I'm blessed that I have a husband who will cook and feed them. No questions asked if I can't stay at the table.

    August Sleevers?

My surgery was August 22. And I never thought that I would actually not feel hungry. But so far so good. I'm on yogurt and cream soups. Farina. Plus the clear liquids. The protein shakes are very hard for me to get down so I went to GNC and bought Isopure. It's like a Gatorade. But no sugar. And the 20 oz bottle has 40 grams of protein. That's the easiest way to get your protein. Your protein is very important. Keep ur head up and you will get thru this challenge. Much luck.
  6. Congratulations. You look great.
  7. Awesome you look great. How do u feel? I'm only 1wk post op and I already lost 18 lbs. I feel the same right now. I can't wait to lose all the rest.

    5 1/2 week progress so far ...

Totally awesome you're beautiful. Keep up the great work
  10. My surgery was last Thursday. I started off this whole thing at 289 pounds. That was in May before I went to the seminar. At the seminar I realize that I needed to stop smoking and that I would be changing for the rest my life my children. I have three children eight years old three years old and a one-year-old. And I would love to be that "soccer mom " That coaches are runs up and down the field. I couldn't do that because I was so heavy. I also couldn't do that cause I have severe chronic neck and back issues. My pain management doctor recommended that I move forward with the surgery. If I lost some weight maybe we take pressure off my spine and I would have less pain. So finally in April I decided to move forward with scheduling I saw the doctor we set the date for August 23 (they ended up moving it up one day). I ended up losing 28 pounds on the pre-op diet. Since surgery last Thursday I've lost a total of 18 pounds with a grand total of 46 and still I have a lot to go. I am happy with my progress so far it is a struggle every day because I would love nothing more than to eat a big piece of cheesecake. the surgery helps you a control your hunger I had not been hungry since my surgery it's only been a week but I have not been hungry. And I feel that this is been the best decision I've made in my life outside of getting married and having my children. I'm new to this site so I'm not exactly sure how everything works if I rambled on I apologize.

Jen you were beautiful before, but even more beautiful now. Keep up the good work. I just did my surgery last Thursday and I'm down 18 lbs from surgery and plus 28 from the pre-op diet. I'm new to this app I don't know how to use it well.
