Peter and I drove all over "hell's half acre" today, looking at MH's.... well we finally found one we LOVE!~! It has only 53,000 miles on it, 2000 yr, Full Leather interiour, power queen size bed, Bathroom w/shower, plus an outdoor shower too. TV, VCR, MICROWAVE, Fridge/freezer, coffe maker... the works.... but the guy already accepted an offer and a deposit ck from someone else... problem is that #1 guy might not be able to firm up financing by THURS. and if he can't then its OURS.... So keep you fingers crossed o.k.? DH and I had a fight on the way home, was busy traffic as its the long weekend... tons of cars on the road, plus Peter wants to go cross country... SO I have to navigate with this old torn up map... even though we have a GPS!!! But alas, he dodn't like the route "she" picked... so I am on the hook... now my eyes aren't great, so I'm looking at the road signs thru my glassed and then looking OVER my glasses so that I can read the dang map....ohhhhh marital bliss it ain't!! So we are home now, but its a wee bit frosty! Food not good today, on the road and just grabbing and going.... My Eyebrows are frozen, no more WRINKLES between my eyebrows... I am pleased!:smile2:

Good morning!!! DH let me sleep in this a.m. AHHHHH then he brought me coffee... what a sweetie! Well about the botox. I have liked the result we've been getting on the Face Cream we all bought last weekend. Then a Px of mine tells me about how she got botox. NOw she's only 40!!!! and she says to me... "You have very deep grooves between your eyebrows".... "Kinda makes you look like your disapproving of everything." WOW, now I had thought that they were very deep before and I didn't like them... SO I was a good girl all week with my food, so I made the appt. to go get the shot. It takes 5 mins. Seriously.. didn't hurt... A couple of little pricks and it was done. I lay back, she makes you scruntch up your face as hard as you can, then relax your face no expression, then raise your eyebrows ... then she :picks: the spots she wants to freeze and then she gives you the needle... bam, your done. Then I had exercises to do for the next 4 hours... 1) raise my eyebrows 2) Make a hard Worry look ' then repeat for 4 hours... this movement in the muscles helps the BOTOX settle into the tissues where is it targeted... I go back in 2 wks for a re-eval and maybe a tweek of some more botox where its needed... then I don't have to go backuntil NOV.... So I figure it'll cost me $1200 per year to maintain... but even if I decide to quit my FURROW will never be as bad as before I started... Now I just went and had a good look at my face this a.m. and I can see a difference already:biggrin: It will be more frozen daily until the 2 wk mark when she does a re-eval. I didn't tell Pter that I did this, I am waiting to see if he notices Ya Steph, it is probably a mid life crisis, but that all started 2 yrs ago with the LB... I like the changes I've made and there will be more to come... Ithink I would be a chicken to do PS on my face, but I am allup for having my GUT done once my weight is where I want it to be. Phyl, sounds like you are still continuing to have a wonderful vacation!!! Janet, any more news on your DESK moving? Weight was 176.2 this a.m. YEAH!! Although yest was a weird food day... was really tight at supper (work stress) couldn't get my chickin down. So I made a choc shake, then later the munchies hit... I had 2 x 100 cal bar, Once slice of Rhubarb cake, then 1/3 bag of popcorn... not the best choices... but I am being honest!!! All day long I had a Protien bar and coffee's. 1,727 cals for the day!

Back at work today, At 9 a.m. I had an appt. with a Dr. in Barrie.... I got BOTOX injected between my eyebrows... you know where you get that "Scowl" going on.... I'll let you know the results!!!

I stayed late tonight and talked to my Boss about the conflicts at the Front Desk.... she agrees with me! SHe is going to do an additional training session with the "person" and then document results.... YEAH!!!:laugh:

Oh My GOsh! O.k. I think its time to fashion another POLL. Who does NOT want to hear about poops ever again????? :laugh:

Morning Gals! WEll Peter and I went and drove the RV this a.m. I think its my favorite one.... But Peter says I have to do the negotiating!!! So I'm gonna call her this weekend sometime and lowball the thing...keep your fingers crossed for me! Its a beauty and has only 78,000 km thats 48,750 miles on a 2000 model year. Its immaculate inside. Cross your fingers for me that we get it. Had a chat with my BOSS last night too about the office politics.... I have just plane had it... don't need the B.S. and I think Peter would be just as happy to have me retired too. WE'll see. Can p.s. I have lost the 1 lb I put on over the weekend so I'm leaving my TICKER as is!!!

HOme now, going to see another RV in the a.m. with Peter... its the one "I" like , now lets see how much HE likes it!!!!:juggle:

A little bad news--there was a text message from DD when I got to Chicago. She had gone to the dermatologist last week to have a few moles removed from her back. Turns out that one of them was cnacerous so she needs to go back and have more extensive surgery. Oh LInda, I am glad that they caught the skin cancer early! And you are a nurse so I am sure you'll put DD mind at ease. Back at work today, urgh! THe new office manager is driving me NUTS!!! I even called my boss today to discuss it... I've tried to give this BIATCH the benefit of the doubt for long enough... So tomorrow I'm having a meeting with my Boss about the OM... we'll see what transpires. I'm of a mind to just pack in this job... who needs it! If we get an RV we could take off anytime we wanted if I wasn't tied to the clinic. I DO love my patients, but the politics is crap... BLECHT... there, its out.. I feel better :juggle:

Stephanie; you are not a bad mother and you are not going toRUIN the two younger ones. You've had some challenges with Michael's behaviour... Correct me if Im wrong but was he not diagnosed with a mood disorder? a while back? If the Meds don't keep him on an even keel then perhaps residential treatment would be best - for him and the rest of the family. Time apart can sometimes be a beneficial cooling off time for all concerned. What does Jeff think about all this? Is he frazzled with Michael too? Hugs and LOVE to you and your family. Can:wub:

Oh Janet, Peter would always come and DIG you out!!! I am glad you liked it here, You know you are ALWAYS welcome anytime... Peter really enjoyed meeting all my GIRLS...now he knows why I spend so much time on the computer :thumbup: I look forward to SNOW days, when I don't have to go to work and I can just quilt away - no guilt!!! Yes Linda/Mel thank you!!! That is a good RV for sure... trouble is that to bring it across the border... you have to have all kinds of inspections and certificates... then its not that economical to bring over... But thanks so much anyways!!!

Hi gang; Oh wo is me I am back at work!@!! Had my "very special" patient first thing off the bat! I think the receptionist has it in for me Anyways, got RID of her and now I have my nice patients the rest of the day - in fact one cooperated and CANCELLED... that's why I have this minute to post LOL. Now the Girls who trekked north forgot to tell you one very important thing! Linda's DH Mel, is a DOLL!!! He helped my DH run the wiring from our basement all the way across our yard (underground) and provide electrical hookup to our SHED!! No Peter fiqured that this would take 3 days at least. But oh no, MEL was awesome and they had it done in 2 days, enough time left over for Mel to make it to "church" with us Sunday morning. Now I gotta tell you have you ever had CHURCH in a Hockey Arena before? Well "ONLY IN CANADA EH?" They rigged up a plastice click together floor so that they could fill the arena with rows of chairs and a stage!... The chairs picked up moisture from the Cold ICE underneath and it was freeking cold!!! They only way to warm up was to stand, sway, dance and sing loudly to all the old Gospel songs... I am not a church goer and "I" loved it!!!! I will go agian next year too.

Good evening SEVENS!!! We the last travelers have gotten away home... took Mel and Linda to the plane at 1 p.m. this aft... It was SO sad to see everyone go... we had such a great time and strengthened our friendships even more... As Kari said... wonderful fellowship... She headed off by car at around 9 a.m. so hopefully she should be getting home to Michigan by now... Mel and Linda should be home by now too and Phyl is back in Buffalo with her family for some more visiting before she heads back west home... Next year, you guys just CAN"T miss the re-union... we had a blast.. HUGS, Peaches (aka Candice) Poor Janet had to get up and leave at 4 a.m. to catch her plane.. We were all going to get up and say goodbye but the darned Airport shuttle picked her up 10 mins. early and my alarm didn't go off until 4.a.m. and When Peter woke me up the VAN was just pulling out of the driveway... SORRY JANET!!!

Denise: I am so sorry to hear about your Fatherinlaws passing. I can't think of any comforting words that have not already been said and there isn't anything that I can say to ease the pain. I'm just going to send you HUGS and LOVE and hope that youll have lots of family around you in this sad time to even out the sorrows. Love C
