Arrrived at Stevensville, Montana (Steve-I) as her daughter calls it... Had a nice dinner and visit with Karla and her DD4 Elise... beautiful girl and very funny!!! She looks exactly like her mom... Ate at this awesome Mexican place right around the corner from Karla`s.... Her doggies are sweet! Gonna see her again tomorrow after we get the RV looked at, needs an oil change and perhaps a filter... Made it thru the mountains just fine!!! Um,, shopping? whats that? Ha,ha,ha, around the corner from Karla`s there is a shop that is going out of business... a Fabric SHOPPE!!! i AM hitting it as soon as Peterparks the van in the auto shoppe.... hopefully I`ll be alone until at least NOON... Oh and yes, I gt to sleep in tomorrow too... YEAH...its been 7 a.m. starts the last couple of days so I am looking forward to more zzzz`s... think I am still gwetting used to the time zone changes:sad: Hope to do some hiking around tomorrow too... Karla will be home from work at 4;30 so we`ll hook up with her then.. Doggies got along `pretty well`until TWIG got bossy with `Simon`...thank «goodness they never found the cat!!! The drive thru Montana today was just simply stunning... I keep thinking I`ve seen my `favorite`` state.... until I see the next one.... so beautiful!!! Sleep tight ladies...

Whew, I thought maybe I misunderstood..

Don`t worry, about the disaster... You forget that I`m a military wife. we`ve moved more times than I can count.!! ANd ask Janet, Phyl ort Linda... housekeeping is not high on my priority list! The field trip sounds like fun, I`d love it. I may have to join you on the bus as Peter will be taking the RV in for servicing. Don`t take a day off on our account, its just that you mentioned it in an earlier post... so I thought you wanted to.(?)

YUMMM, fudge oh ya baby... you go girl... and do`nt worry about the wine.... WINERY TOURS while we are in Seattle this summer... sounds way cool!!! Love that idea... it`ll remind me of FRANCE when we did our wine touring ther... so much fun to sample!

Karla; You are so RIGHT ON about staying possitive... makes life just so much more enjoyable...not everything works out the way we plan... but being grateful for what goes RIGHT makes all the differnce (IMHO) I am so loving this journey... YOUR COUNTRY is so wonderful... HUGE... but wonderful.. so many things to take advantage of... I drove for an hour today, to give Peter a break... some break I always take the easy roads, with preferably NO wind... if a gust comes up... I pull over and he takes over... such a suckie girl eh??? I can see all of these beautiful HUGE mountains out my south window... still tons of snow on it... we saw some of these earlier today, snow covered sideroads... for a minute «i thought we hadn`t left Canada!!! Really warm where we are tonight but howling wind. Earplugs again tonight... they are really helping as DH snores, usually not a problem when we are in our kngsz bed at home, but in a 3/4 size bed... he is way closer so the earplugs are a bonus. How is your FILL Feeling tonight?? Do you do liquids for the rest of the day after a fill??

Hi gang, gonna post here as long as i am able... playing cards with DH at 8 oclock... so gotta be off the puter by then...lol Todays Word of the DAY... co-operation!!! hee, hee... we are getting things done working together.... Oh yes, and the «23 psalm.... yeah tho I walk thru the valley of death I will fear no evil.... didn`t really appreciate that passage until today... We got off on the wrong road out of CODY WYoming and onto a dirtégravel road for 95 miles. Uphill, downhill, no guardrails... not even a ROAD... was not on GPS oh my... I do have an ANGEL watching over us. ENGINE light, came on AGAIN!! even after the mechanic turned it off... seems we have an 8 cylendar van running on 7.... it runs but not good enough to venture into Yellowstone... I am disappointed about that, after Mt Rushmore that was gonna be my next FAVORITE historical/geog. site... But its better to be safe than sorry..... Karla, will attempt to be in Stevensville SUNDAY late afternoon, if all goes well. We`re stayng on HWY90 as there are more services along that route if we get in to any more trouble. GOOD NEWS is though, we`ll get lots of work done at your place. hee,hee. Don`t take MONDAY Off of work though, in case we don`t make it in time... how would TUESDAY work for you to take a personal day? email me back your thoughts o.k.?? and don`t worry about meals o.k. we`ll take you out for dinner.. Word for tomorrow..... FLEXABILITY:lol:

I`m here, im here... and not drunk tonight!! Had a few wobly pops when we pulled in to unwind. Then had dinner and went for a 2 mile walk with the doggies..needed more wine and paper platesl.. not washing anymore dishes!!! We are meeting the nicest people on our trek... Can`t get the «tv to work well... don`t know whats up with that, and the «rv place has cable? I am probably just doing something wrong. Puppies are beat, Twig is snoring already, Peter will be not to far behind I am sure. Hopefully Yellowstone tomorrow... right after we we take the RV to the autoshop. An engine light came on just as we were pulling into Buffalo Wyoming..so we`ll get that checked out and be on the road again,:thumbup:

Oh Karla, you make me laugh... perhaps we`ll be there late Sunday or Monday ... so by Sat we should be able yto tell you which day to take off.... I also hsve your phone no. so I can call... right now we are stopped at a little town EAST of Mt Rushmoree... `MURDO`` S. Dakoyta... or as peter says boofoonowhere!! No its not that bad, stopped at the Good SAMS RV park and there is NO-one here! Except another lost RVèwr... so we connected to their internet and it works, so does ELECTRIC but no water or dumpage... but thats o.k. as we have lots of room left in our holding tanks.... we can staty one whole day or 2 max. So painting would probably fit our skill set or Peter can do ruf carpentry... what ever needs doing when we get there.. I am 2 thumbs but I am a good painter. Especially at cutting in. Peter is good with the roller. I have already spent a wad$$ on fabric, so if we don`t get to a quilt store that`s ok. we`d rather be of some assistance to you with your move... our time better spent eh? what do you think? Phyl, this is a better stop than Walmart hee,hee,hee and free (so far as I know) we walked up the hill to the grocery store, ever friendly folks in there... we could`n`t weven pick up some hamberger w/o everyone in there saying `hey yall`` very sweet!!! I asked them, where are the owners of the RV spot and hotel??? oh I guess they are not open yet... however the book says that they are... oh well, at least they were nice enough to provide WIFI and Elect... Thank Goodness for small mercies eh?? Such a beautiful drive today, S Dakota when crossing the Mosouri river oh the view was spectacular:thumbup: Some very pretty country we`ve crossed. Well dinner tonight will be sad. Last night with Mel and Linda. SHe has been so awesome, even sharing her PLAYTIME with CORA with ME... I am not a gramma yet but it was sure a fun day. I think it was more fun play8hg with Cora than fabric shopping!! Currently, the men are UNDER the RV looking for where a bolt dropped out of.... wish them luck!

Just had time to go back and reread everyones posts... Stephanie, that weekend does sound like something that I would enjoy... its great to get inspiration eh? WE all need that from time to time. Karla, hang in there hun... its all gonna work out HUGS, again! Oh and about òwing`everyone that`s helped you move... Dear, these folks have kind hearts and I am sure they got as much out of helping you as you did from their efforts. Good people are EVERYWHERE... thank God for that:biggrin:

Getting cloudy out now... good thing we did our all of our exploring and hiking this a.m. It;s quiet on here today, Janet busy at work, Phyl enjoying her JAZZ festivals (Peter is jealous), Karla at work, Stephanie??? Happy Monday everyone!! Linda and Mel are off to work today, so Peter, I and the doggies are going to explore Sheboygan on our own . Beautiful part of the country and so much to see. This vacation is starting out so great really looking forward to the other beauty spots we`ll see. Yesterday, we started off with Linda`s church service. Lovely people and met her family, saw her Mom again. Cool lady, she is a quilter so we always have lots to talk about. Then lunch back at Linda`s with her son, DIL and grandbaby. A blessed family.. so nice.. MEL loves our Bridget and might just steal her before we leave... Heading out «Wed morning Phyl, I hope you are enjoying the trip north, I`` ll bet the scenery there is awesome... Karla, HUGS hope today the $$$ get sorted out. Yes, we are chomping at the bit... been loading the RV all day today... and its lightly raining it better cut that out by tomorrow a.m.!!! Had to find TWO dog tie-offs for the campgrounds... trying to empty the fridge... gave all my fresh veggies to the neighbors. Having the last of the leftover TURKEY tonight in a curry casserole, then ITS leftovers are going in the Freezer...LOL I told Karla this the other night, but you gals will get a charge out of it too. DH has packed a case of RP4's... army rations!! they r all boil-in-the-bag meals... maybe we'll save one or two for EARL when we get there LOL... I can hardly wait to put out the garbage tomorrow morning and shove off. Think I'll go finish off some ;open' wine that's in the fridge!~:smile2:

Ah Phyl` I feel for yu... leaving all your snowbird friends is hard... but it will be nice driving back up the coast too.. I can`t wait to see the scenery out there... We are leaving Friday or Sat. morning... the sooner the better for me, Got aLL MY maintewnance work done today; Nails, Hair Cut, visited m y Mom... who is doing fabulously by the way... she hasnt`looked this good in a year.. Breakfast today 384 cals, fibre one cereal, skim milk, bioimmune yogurt drink... Really being lazy today... just quilting until I have to go to work at 3:30... TOmorrow, MOM's taxes have got to be mailed away. Thurs quilting class... RV is almost packed... I changed all the bedding yesterday.. I hate changing the sheets in there.. feels like I am wrestling an alligator!!! And I sewed new privacy curtains for the windsheild and driver/passenger windows.. I used velcro all around... looks great and very much easier to put up and take down in the a.m. can't wait to get underway.. I am so excited:thumbup:

Happy MORNING to everyone; I got up today and thought YUM I can have leftover turkey and mashed potatoeségravy for breakfast.... NOT... took two or three bites of my turkey and WHAM band slammed shut... LOL So today, we start the paking of the VAN... we will leave this weekend.. I am so excited - the dogs are too... everytime we open the RV door, they JUMP IN... too funny they don;t want to be left behind no how!! Denise, Glad your hubby is feeling better. Phyl, you must be tired from all your escapades! janet, a blooming rose - how lovely... my crocus`s are just popping thru the dirt and you can see from my pictures it was warm enough to sit out on the deck for all the smokers... All the McIntyre side are smokers... Peter and I the only NON-s Stephanie sounds like the program and Michael was a success... the martial arts together sounds like FUN. Hi Karri; glad you are back...we missed you!! And your trip sounds like it was an awesome adventure for you.. Yes this SPRING week has really kept a lot of us busy. Karla with her moving, Phyl with all her goodbye parties. Janet, just xrazy busy at work... plus BINGO LOL Stephanies boy came home this week... so way busy there.< Denise is nursing a sick husband.
