Jack .... jack jack jack... all i scan ask is did you watch the speech or did you listen to it... because if you watched it then well i cant help you believe in something that you fully get a comprehension on. You needed to listen to that speech and realize that its not about him its about you ... that speech was nothing more that a rallying call to all Americans to stand up together and do more... to want better. and to make better happen. Obama throws himself down as a tool to help grease the wheels ... but if we want the changes that he promises we must fight for it. the Change he speaks of can only be brought about tbu the American people engaging and actively applying our power to make things happen. Thats what you would have under stoop if you listened to the speech instead of watched it.... heres what you can do dl the speech and replace the word i with you.... or us ... or American people and see if the power of that speech doesnt shine though...

Thats what i have been saying all along... its goon how people are seriously giving him at least the benefit of the doubt now... i mean my favorite line from the speech has got to be "im not willing to take a 10% chance on change" :thumbup:classic:thumbup:

Im tired hungry and in pain... but at least i got the banding out of the way... now its time to go check out my realize site... ok sooo im getting banded in the morning ... and i can finally put the first leg behind me.. and i cant wait but here is the thing i have lost about 40 lbs already in post op and it just seems to me that for every 5-10 pounds or so that i loose ... my sex drive jumps that much more:thumbup:... granted im not complaining but i have only lost 40 pounds what happends when i get to 60, 80, 100.:confused2: the thought is disctracting to say the least.... doesn anyone have similar issues or experiences.:smile2:

Thanks... man... yeah for a while there i was stressin about the surgery then the funk hit the fan at work... on top of that i literally met to woman of my dreams:wub: and lost her:confused2:... so i was more than happy when Stanford called and pushed my surgury forward... put things back in perspective. Whats good on your end

my surgury date got moved forward to the 25th so im hella juiced but im getting more and more antsy by the day .... not because of the surgery but because sat i got the flu. no im done with the fever and i feel 100 time better but i still have a really slight cough mostly from post nasal drip and a runny nose.... will this jeopardize my surgery??

Ok to its amazing how the right information at the right time can change anything... i just ended a very intense relationship and was sulking about that then the hospital calls and they want to move my surgury date up to now... 8-25 to be exact... barely gives me time to get my work situation situated but ... danm if its not a relief i mean the wait is friggen over finally. not not really as nervous as i was before then... thank God something is going my way

I mean it took me a long time to become one with my fatness and now im turning my back on it .... sept 9th is the day ... i started eating to much as a coping mechanism to depression and skeletons in the closet... when i cant hide behind the fatass what will i do then?

ELENATION i know that sometimes i respond to the topic and end up sounding like a personal dig so i apologize for coming across like that. That being said ok let me stop dealing with extremes .... yes there is things that can prepare you for leadership roles ... but no there is nothing that can prepare you to deal with a 10 trillion dollar debt, a unjust war. it is something that takes alot of people to collectively think and come up with plans to correct theses issues.. No amount of experience can prepare you for that ...to be honest i only really said what i said because im just sick of seeing the experience argument because its unfair and untrue. So i guess i was responding to the experience thing and not you... I welcome opposing opinions but i have had a problem since HS i don't debate softly... i use strong and sometimes overbearing statements and viewpoints. and yes i do get passionate and say some things sometimes... i assure you that the only reason that they com across as they do is because we are writing and not in person....im a teddy bear that loved everybody... a new age hippy if you will ... yea i may lack tact at times but i have waisted too much of mu life trying to change who i am ... its time for me to just accept me for me( seriously there a long story there) so i guess sorry if i have offended in the past and sorry in advance cause ill probably offend in the future... I have absolutely no faith in Obama to bring about any of the changes that he proposes. What i do however have faith in is his ability to organize People to make the changes Governments only work with the permission of the people and i believe that Obama can get the people organized to Force the changes that we want ... and i have to choose to believe that because that is the choice we have ... Because he is the nominee. It doesnt matter what decanting thought you hay have ... cause we are past that point... we are at the point where you have to choose Obama Or McBuch its that simple its one or the other there isn't a savior candidate thats going to come in from left field to swoop you off you feet and make you feel Perfectly Comfortable... there is no such thing as a perfect candidate and Barack is what you got so seriously ..... get over it make a decision and hold on for the smears cause the facts arin't going to change anytime soon. That may be true but we are at a time in our country where we need a president to be the president of the United States of American First and foremost. so IF that means that somebody gets a sour taste in their mouth ... so be it; and to sit here as act as though mccain or clinton have any more experience that trumps Obama but just holding a senate seat is naive and preposterous. The fact is that though the leadership he has shown in just the organization that he has put together already shows such leader ship.... seriously people what do you even mean by experience .... what on this planet could possibly prepare you for the Presidency of the most powerful nation on the planet.... what possible situation is similar to the need that this country faced... Mccain and Clinton believe that they can work hard and stand up and make things happen because of who they are and who they represent. Obama has the audacity to stand up and say that he can get things dome because we will be working just as hard and we will make the moves and the changes .... look back obama has a lot of ideas that mimic the president that took us out of the last depression .... some of his policies are similar to FDR ...( if your not aware of what he did.... look it up) Seriously experience exsmerience. The fact of the matter is that unless the candidate was a Governor then that person is unexperienced to sit in that chair. Bill Gates was not experienced Sergey Brin & Larry Page were not experienced Thomas Anderson was not experienced George Washington was not experienced nor were half the leaders on this planet... so give it a rest of the experience angle already its getting old and its not going to change anyones mind. And if that is still a issue for you then by all means feel free to either vote against what you believe in or stay home on election day because he is the Democratic Nominee and thats all she wrote either fall in line or get off the train ... because if you cant see the leadership capability in that man then you are just as blind as the GOP and religions extremist themselves. People are dying everyday over a lie the American way of life is disappearing by the oil barrel and you want to have useless debate about experience when experience up to this point has counted for nothing. My fault.... I got carried away..... I’ll do better I do disagree about the use of language and cursing comes into play when emotions have gotten the best of you. I knew very well what I was saying I wasn't emotional if the time permitted me I would have done what I normally try to do and be as polite and PC and articulate as possible. But I was running late for a meeting and it was quicker to just use the expletive than to search my vocabulary and decide on proper verbiage to accurately express my emotion and passion for the topic at hand. There are situations for both when you are waist deep in work and late for a meeting cause you were reading a thread that you are really into, and your point must be made; then articulate and well thought out wording is not in the two minute drill play book. I apologies for anyone who was offended by the language that I was using … The only defense I elevate is that we are all adults hear; we can look past a little colorful language once in a while. My intention was to express my distain for any form of media that blatantly lie or fabricate news and I am extraordinarily passionate about that; because it is how some people are expected to make informed decisions it is of the utmost importance that if it can’t stay unbiased that it at least be unquestionably truthful. It undermines the intelligence and moral compass of this nation. So I hope my point is revealed by this post and the debate can continue.
