Hey there fellow bariatric pals. I am looking for advice or anyone with similar experience. I have GS March 2014 with top weight of 250 at 5'6" BMI 41. I lost about 55 lbs which my lowest weight has never exceeded about 185. (Goal weight about 165) So, at this time, I have gained back some weight and am at 200 lbs. So about 15 lbs back again. My doctor recommended perhaps having the Duodenal Switch/Revision to continue to take more weight off. But, I really only need to lose about 30-35 lbs. I am afraid that I will get under 160 lbs and be too thin. Has anyone had the DS after the sleeve? Still researching and trying to make the best decision. Hey, sorry for any offense I may have made. Yes, I am new to the site and I am looking for information to make my decision, this just happended to be the first post I came to. I really wanted information about the people who did this to this lady and nothing was ever told to the thousands of people on this site. I would have posted something for all to know. It just seemed odd to me that it is know where in the postings of who the surgeon is. It just seems like alot of writing for someone who is so sick. I know I could not do it, could you? I was making an observation/comment. And hoping it was not someone to try and scare all of us. NY1966

I am new to the site and researching WLS experiences. I am kind of a pessimist. But, I am skeptical about the entire set of postings that I am reading. How can someone that is so sick and ill from surgery almost write a book about it? If I were so sick, I do not think I can get my fingers to type 2 words. I am curious why this member never mentioned a Surgeons name, or Hospital name. If she meant to get the word out about her horrible experience and surgery, it seems that most people would want to let the forum know the person/hospital who is responsible. But, no names are mentioned? Also, why is the daughter still communicating and posting with people online on behalf of her mother after a year? It seems the greif would be overwhelming and the account should be closed.. Some things just do not jive.. Sorry.. I wish everyone well in there WLS.. Still trying to figure mine out.
