Mkak got a reaction from Alex Brecher in Fitbit?
Hi there, I was just at Dick's and they had them up by the register. If you have one close by I would check it out. No shipping!

Mkak got a reaction from sophiepants in Thanksgiving Challenge
Yes, I look forward to Thursdays so I can see how amazing everyone is doing! Knowing I have to post for all to see really motivates me to stay on track (well, most of the time LOL).
You're so close to your goal! Keep it up! Christmas/New Years here we come

Mkak got a reaction from Bea Amaya in Thanksgiving Challenge
Went back to basics this week after 2 less than stellar showings, and down to 222.8. 3.6 loss! Don't think I'll be making my goal of 215, but if I get into the teens I'll be a happy camper!

Mkak got a reaction from No game in Competition Amongst Women
Agreed. I've seen enough "one-ups" on here to not make me want to post my NSV, stats, etc. ever! But again, I'm slightly dramatic haha
I'm sorry that happened to you, LV. This certainly isn't the venue for that kind of nonsense. You know you're killing it. Don't ever let someone make you question your success!

Yeah, a large majority do. It may just be me (and I'm a tad dramatic ) but being a woman these days can be downright exhausting.

Mkak got a reaction from aroundhky in Personal Trainer Tips
So I bit the bullet and invested in 6 weeks of personal training (2X per week). I'm going to use these next few weeks as a trial run to see if I should make a longer term commitment.
Looking for tips from others who have been super successful with their trainer. What made your relationship great? What things went wrong that you would caution someone about (if applicable)? Any other insight you can provide? Definitely want to get as much out of this as I can and learn the right way to work out my body once and for all! Thank you all in advance!

Yep, I've got the lower belly "crease" too. You're not alone sister.
Sigh.

Mkak reacted to LipstickLady in Do These Pants Make My Ass Look Big?
The dreaded question that no smart man will answer with anything less than an enthusiastic "NO! Your ass looks great!!" while still fearing for his well being and wondering where he might be closing his eyes for the night.
My husband now LOVES the question and actually (GASP!!) checks it out for me eagerly where he used to slink out of the room right after the aforementioned response. He knew I was going to be pissed no matter what he said -- not at him, but at myself.
Problem? He now goes overboard. He wants to check to see if my pants are too tight -- you know, where he has to insert his hand down the back and see how much room there is. He also has this weird obsession of checking to see if my boobs have shrunk more. Hmmm... Every day. By feel.. And then by sight. And then by feel again.
Weirdo.

Mkak got a reaction from Madam Reverie in Hello. My Name Is Revs And I'm A Carboholic And Hungry!
Hello there, I usually get 650-850 calories per day, 80g Protein and try to keep my carbs under 30g. I do 3 meals and 2 Snacks (usually string cheese or hard boiled egg whites). I find chicken to be the most filling for me. 3-4 oz. and I won't even think about food for hours.

Mkak got a reaction from Bama53 in Help! Peanut Butter Is The Devil!
Try PB2! It's powdered Peanut Butter and has so much less fat and calories than regular PB.
I'm a night snacker, too. I literally don't keep anything in the house (easy for me I don't have a hub and/or family to feed). Also, I started working out later at night after dinner so I don't even give myself time to snack.

Mkak reacted to Bea Amaya in Thanksgiving Challenge
Congrats to you BOTH for making it to Onederland this week! I notice there are a few more people who many join you before the challenge is over...now how cool is that!? I'm planning on my Onderland crossover during the Easter challenge, but I can wait...I'm doing fine. It's just so exciting to see some of you moving into new places. It not only makes us excited for you and your progress but also for ourselves, knowing what is possible. CONGRATS!
