  1. Hi, this is my first post, just joined the site today. But I would say those could be normal symptoms for any abdominal surgery. I had those symptoms when I had my gall bladder out a few years ago. Could hardly breath without pain, could only swallow broth of juice for a few weeks, etc. It could be just how your body personally deals with this type of surgery. But it never hurts to call the doctor's office to talk to someone about your symptoms.
