  3. haven't called Dr. yet. I figure I'll give it a few days and see if I get any better.
  4. Oh you don't want this to happen but once then its OMG how can I keep this from happening!!! LOL!! Pb stands for productive burp! You get this really bad tight feeling in your chest then the next thing you know your not sure if you are going to burp or throw up!! Well then you kinda gag and you feel like your saliva gets slimy and then it comes up. Almost like a mini throw up. This usually happens when you didn't chew well enough took to big of a bite.
  5. Krystal I must say your story has touch my heart today. I see in you some one who wants to be healthy so bad... and you will! The decision to have this surgery will change your life!!! Welcome and please come back for suport through your weight loss journey. You will meet lots of people just like your self. Read some old posts lots of info there. Good luck on getting your band and getting your health back.
  6. My cycle isn't for another 2 weeks. So I don't think thats it yet! But good point I guess you could have some Fluid retition and swelling so that makes since that you could have more restriction around that time. Also I did Pb late yesterday after noon but saturday I was getting the stuck feeling and that was before I had the pb??? So I'm confused on that one. I've had a Protein drink this morning so maybe it will settle me down today! I'll try just the liquids and see if that helps!. The good thing is I weighed this morning and I've lost 2 more pounds for a total of 21 down since surgery and 34 total!!! I'm so excited Now if I can get this fill figured out I'll be doing good!! Thanks for the suggestions!! Thanks to J. Lynn and you too Betty! I'll do liquids today and see if that helps. Also will be extra careful to chew well Thanks for the help!!!
  7. Paula you look great!!! great price on your new outfit too!! Your little boy is a cutie!!
  8. Okay guys I've been trying to figure out this crazy fill and I'm not getting anywhere by myself..... I need some help! I got a fill 3 weeks ago..I felt I could tell a difference immediatly.I even had a couple episodes with the stuck feeling at first. Then I felt like I was being able to eat more as each day went by with out getting the stuck feeling. like maybe the first restriction was from swelling after the fill or something. Now WAME!!!! everything I've eaten yesterday and today has gotten stuck... Even very soft potatoes cooked in the crock pot with a roast!!! I'm not sure what is going on its like 3 weeks from the time I got my fill and it kicked in or something. Could a fill take this long to kick in??? Any suggestions?
  9. Just do like I did when I was a little girl.... paint every nail a different color!!! LOL!!!!

  16. Glad to know its not just me having problems with eggs... sure seems like alot of people do. I can only eat eggs with cheese in them too! They are yummy that way!! It only takes a couple of bites those eggs get stuck!!! What a bad feeling!!!
  17. Joe This is 8th week since banding and being able to sleep on my stomach has been no problem! As far as laying on the hard ground that might be uncomfortable depending on where your port is located.I would ask my Dr. and tell them what type work you do. This might get them to be careful with how they place your band. I think the easiest way to get around the band is drinking while eating and also drinking high calorie liquids. These two things will deffinatly slow/stop your weight lose! It is very important to drink 1-2 hours after each meal and also to always drink liquids that don't contain calories. Speaking for my port I can't see mine when I'm looking in a mirror ... but I can lay on my back and feel it very well!!! It does not get in my way and I can do anything that I could before banding! I would say the band is a great tool for almost any age. I feel it is a great tool that when used properly can help lots of health issues and I have deffinatly heard of people older than your mom getting the band and have done great with it!!! Good luck to you on getting your band and also to your mom!!! May you both regain lots of health from this wonderful band!!
