I know that even with stalls, you are still losing inches. What measurements are you keeping track of and which one do you wish you would of tracked?

Ugh!! My doctor has me on for 4 weeks. I am hoping he changes his mind if I lose 10 -15 pounds.

I was told 5 weeks. I am in Indiana. I don't have my date yet, but when I went to the seminar and the doctor said that, I quit that night cold turkey. It has been tough, but has also been two months.

Can't wait to hear your progress. I haven't gotten my necessity letter from the doctor yet. I am nervous he won't give me one. Then I don't know what I will do. How long did it take for your insurance to approve you?

Do you also have a thyroid problem?

I have been waiting on my doctor to write the neccessity letter. In the meantime, I have been reading everything I can on sleeve surgery. I have been to the seminar and am so excited. I had my thyroid burned out with radioactive iodine about 13 years ago. Since then, my weight has steadily been climbing. Can't seem to regulate my pills. Anyone else have a similar story? How did you do at weight lose? I am worried I will not be able to loose.

I am also a "newbie". Waiting on my insurance approval. I loved your thread.

Hi all I am waiting for my physicians letter. I hope he gives it to me tomorrow at my appt. I am learning patience while waiting for the insurance to okay the procedure.
