I just had my date changed to October 21 st. I am getting butterflies. I would like a mentor.

My husband and I have known each other since childhood. At 10 years old I said I wanted to marry him some day. Everyone laugh and he ran screaming. Well forward 8 years, and I am walking down the isle towards him. We have been happily married for 41 years. We are each others biggest supporters. Our love is so strong.

I am joining the Indiana sleevers losing bench on October 21.

I got my call yesterday. Surgery on October 28. Then they called today and now surgery on October 21. Sure hope they call tomorrow!! :-)

You are just beautiful. I would of loved to have been sleeved when I was younger. I love seeing all of you so happy and having this great opportunity of getting your health back. I may be 60, and a little late in the game, but soon, I am going to say goodbye to my high BMI and hello to a healthy old broad. Even though I am worried about having tube sock boobs. :-)

I had to work on my weight 18 months with my physician. Check. Psych evaluation. Check. Now I will have a 4 week liquid diet. Yum... can't wait! :-)

I am sitting on the same bench. Paperwork goes to insurance next week. Would love to have a quick answer back. They told me that they are full for Sept. and most of Oct. for surgery. Looks like I will be a Nov. Sleever.

I am a November Sleever too. Don't have my date yet. I am excited now, so can't imagine what I will be like when it gets closer.

Take your measurements. I bet you have lost inches.

I will be 60 in January. This is a gift I am giving myself. The first thing out of my 5 year old grand daughter's mouth when she sees me is "are you feeling better grandma? Can you pick me up.". I can't wait for the day to hear " Let's go play grandma"!!!

You need to take some "me" time and so does your hubby. Look at pictures that you have with family members. Take a walk down memory lane. Take a drive in the country and listen to the birds sing. Those would be my happy places to go to. You are in my prayers....... and remember "this to shall pass". :-)
