  3. Hopefully you don't have to have one but do ask! It totally freaks me out it just looks so strange. I've asked my brother in law who is a surgeon in another state and its pretty old school! Good luck at your appointment!
  4. How many of you either have already had this or are getting this before surgery? My dr practically requires this especially with my high BMI. I tried to get out of it today cause it freaks me out! Thank you!

  9. You were lucky that they were prepared! I had to walk up to the front of the plane and ask for one and I just felt everyone's eyes on me. I'm sure in my mind it was much worse but I knew I didn't want to go through that again! We are on the right path! Good luck on your sleeve!
  10. I'm one of those people that has told everyone I having WLS. My thought behind it was that I will need the support of all my friends, family and coworkers ( I am see them more than anyone). All my girl besties, family members and coworkers are so excited and amazing. The men in my life not so much. My dad isn't for it. My guy bestie says to me all the time but you can do it on your own. My other guy friends have kinda the same response. I just find it amazing the difference in reaction. What has y'all's reaction been? I know they are just worried. I guess it's a man thing. I tell them just be happy for me and after the surgery is over I am sure they will be.....or so I hope!
  11. When I had to use an seatbelt extender on an airplane. It was horrible and I was so embarrassed! Of course it was a packed plane and I almost cried
