Don't give up! I am 3wk out and down 16lb just from surgery but lost nothing week two. I have never lost 16lb in one month. I'll take slow and steady if that's what it takes to get it off.

How about a pair of coveralls???

Thought I'd share our progress. My sister, my sister in law and I all had surgery. First pic is day before surgery (May 9) and second pic was taken yesterday. We're extremely happy so far. We all loss between 56-63#.

A whole 9 days! (Still on the fluids/baby-pap/no lumps/soupy/would eat a fungi infested dead dog if I could diet stage)

I bought my wedding dress 5 months ago and it was 3 sizes too small. Had the sleeve 4 months ago, and it fits today!!!!
First pic is the day I bought the dress, it barely fit over my head with the back completely open!
And the second is today! I still have some upper body fat to lose, but I have 4 months until the wedding!

I was on mine andvit lasted double ! Ugh! I hated pads during surgery loln

14lb in 10 days

I was told to start regular foods ten days out, was sent home on full/soft foods such as yogurt and cottage cheese. I feel awesome. If see what the dr says

UPDATE:
I decided after a lot of hard thinking that he isn't right for me and I am being unfair to him and to myself by staying in the relationship.
I broke up with him last Monday and asked him to move out by Sunday. Last night (Sunday) he moved out of my house.
He spent the week texting me telling me he loves me so much and that he can change and please take him back but I have heard it before. He has said he can change so much but I know he has tried before and it just hasn't worked.
I have cried everyday so far but I know things will get better i just have to push through. I am very sad for him as well as I know he is heartbroken and its not like he did anything really wrong, he just isn't right for me.
I am going to stay single for a while and try and spend some time with myself. I feel very nervous about entering the dating scene again as I have never done that as a thin person. But I need to heal first.
Thank you very much to everyone who gave me such good advice and helped me to be strong and make the right decision.

If you are wanting something low in carbs you can also make a lettuce wrap instead of the tortilla. Works if you are high on your carb count for the day.

Well, my husband and I are both sleeved, so I'm not sure how things would have gone if we both were not on this journey together. I think we would have been fine if either of us was sleeved and the other wasn't but hard to say. Although I went first (about 5 months before my hubby) he was supportive from the beginning until now.
What I always hear in regards to how WLS affects relationships is this: If you are on rocky ground to begin with, WLS won't make things any better. If you are in a good solid relationship to start, then WLS only makes things better.
That seems to be true for us. Everyone is different!

Frankly - there are waits on the other side of the surgery that are hair pullers too. I keep trying to remind myself that I will not be a size 8 when I wake up tomorrow. I keep thinking "Patience is a virtue". It doesn't always work....

I did the exact same thing the other day. A small tortilla, a slice of turkey deli meat and a slice of swiss cheese. Rolled it and popped it n the microwave for 25 seconds. Tasted awesome!

First appt went well. I get to go back to work next week, I'm also 9 days post op and have lost 9 more pounds.

I wonder if I froze some it would be like icecream, that would be so good, i, m going to test it now:-)

I'm hoping for the same that this will help both me and my relationship, I'm so excited and can't wait!

It seems like I can smell everything and its driving nuts!!! Even the few things I've tasted have changed in taste!

I came home, picked up my 3 yo from the sitter, and watched cartoons. Everyday since on the weekdays it's her and I. The great thing with your children's age is they can get little things from the fridge, potty themselves, and even relax with you! I think you'll do great.

It depends .. My relationship with MYSELF has improved greatly! And once I did that I found my husband which is amazing to me and for me ::-)

My taste is so different already!!! It's weird
