Well today I officially hit goal weight. 135 pounds lost and it took me 9 months and 20 days. I thought I'd be more emotional than I am about it but I'm not. I'm not sure how I feel about it actually.

That's amazing, I understand not knowing how to feel. some days I feel like I'm saying goodbye to an old friend who treated me horribly in the end. My addiction and self sabotage kept me oddly safe. Now that I'm free I find my thinking about it has changed and ask myself why and how. I'm finally free of the addiction that kept me at bay. Be proud and celebrate you!

Well according to some random BMI chart I am no longer morbidly obese, I'm just Overweight now. So, yay! Also, on day 23 of my Vegetarian journey and honestly, I'm not going back to eating meat again. I feel like I've redicovered food again.

Day 8 of my 30 Day Vegetarian Challenge. Seriously, I am loving this way of eating. Plus I've lost 5 pounds in a week and I'm eating all the time. High quality, protein rich veggie based food.

12 more pounds till I hit my goal weight of 225. Inititally it was 230 but I still feel fatter than I should. Though I will say that this 30 day Vegetarian challenge has really been working out well for me. I'm getting plenty of protein and steadily losing weight.

I know I haven't been posting much but I am 11 pounds from goal. What a journey this has been so far. I'm still technically "fat" but everything is different. I still love my sleeve 8 months out.

Only 15 pounds till I hit goal. Oh man, what a day that's gonna be.

The weight is coming off a little slower now because I have to be just a little more dilligent in what I eat. But I am doing it. Only 17 more pounds to goal. What a journey this has been.

Whoa! Whooshed right past 250 last night. I had stalled for so long and now in the last couple of weeks I've lost over 10 pounds. My body is still very sore from working out but I am still going out on a long hike today through the North Georgia Mountains.

Well it's official, I am training for a 10k. I love the energy around training for these things.

The weather was nice enough to hike yesterday. It was amazing outside, hiking up the side if that mountain. I got to the top, made a renewed commitment to my health and hiked the whole thing again. I wasn't tired or worn out... I was healing and for that I am grateful.

6 months in and 105 pounds down. At 255 pounds I am now officially the smallest I have ever been in my entire adult life and I'm 34. I think maybe I was at 255 when I was 15 but only very briefly. That's pretty awesome.

Struggling now. I gained 2 pounds so I am back up to 265. I can eat anything but that doens't mean I should.

I am 4 pounds away from a 100 pound loss. I'll take 100 pounds in 5 months!

So guess who now fits into a size 38 pair of jeans now for the FIRST TIME IN MY ADULT LIFE? Yup, this guy. I've never been less than a size 40. Increadible.

Finally broke the 270's! Man that stall lasted a while and I do not know how I did it since yesterday. Being snowed in only afforded me to eat junk and processed garbage but I still managed to lose 2 pounds last night. My body is so weird sometimes.

Went through the closet today and found 4 full trash bags of old clothes that are too large for me to wear anymore. It was a cathartic experience. Entering the next phase now. I'm ready to finish what I've started, for the first time in my entire life.

I am still losing weight, which I should count me blessings for (even though it is slow) but I need to start making better food decisions.

Almost 80 pounds down so far.

I had a 3 pound "whoosh" last night. I never lose tha much overnight, and it happened on Thanksgving if all days when I ate like crap. Weird.

70 pounds down in about 2.5 months. Got about 60 more to go. Really need to stop being gym lazy.

I feel like my body is starting to get "squishy" (if that makes sense). I need to get my ass into the gym to minimize this as much as possible.

The weirdest thing happened recently. In the last 2 days I've noticed a sudden ability to eat more food.

I am finally under 300 pounds! In my entire adult life (15 years) this has happened three times, including now. I wil NEVER go back!!
