  1. Really? Mate, there are many things I could say to your last post. What I will say is T-M-I. If you're getting your crackers off by talking about it so much - you're clearly not getting it. Maybe you should hunt down a more subject appropriate website?
  2. I cannot eat without drinking. At this stage, if I have to eat every 2 hours, because I dared to sip - then so beit. I'll keep on chomping.

  4. Alright alright.. I thought this was a bariatric surgery website. Not a sexual therapy website!

  6. I'd be responding to the next one 'Ahh yes.. so when exactly did you get bariatric surgery, sweetheart?!'
  7. What a weird thing to say in the first place?!
  8. Oh, for a full stop....
  9. Ask them for morphine. It'll ease the sickness and allow you to relax a bit... Glad it went well though and you're up, awake and fighting the temporary misery. Give it three days and this will be a vague blur. Well done, honey xx
  10. Ahh, that's where the magic button is! Awesome. Many thanks
  11. gmanbat - how do you attach photos to this thing without having to supply a URL? I am clearly missing something...
  12. I had a slice of toast last night, admittedly, with a cup of tea. It took me two goes, but it went down and I felt fine. Small bites i think are key..
  13. Hmm.. How about imbedding the photos onto a powerpoint slide. Save the slide as a jpeg and then post?
  14. If you're feeling that full of energy - that's awesome. But, be careful. I feel like that some days, go crazy on the walking front and then feel like I've done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson the next day... I realise I have to take it slowly slowly... I was also advised at 4 weeks, i can start upping the cardio - as long as my diet is good.
  15. Open the source file on your computer and rotate. Save the rotation and then post. I would have thought, that is....
  16. keep drinking and give it time to work its way through... Have you taken a PPI?
  17. Thank you, dear. I have no intention of going to get them, despite having lots of sleep. Today, I shall be largely sat on my behind watching tv and chilling the hell out. Love the weekends!
  18. I have, I believe. When I was a kid. Made me black out. Turns out it doesn't sit with me well. Oh, but what I'd give for some percocet when my migraines come! Stingy British doctors don't hand that stuff out over here. They think everyone would become addicted... Which I wouldn't.. I'd probably use it as a very effective sleeping aid
  19. Don't expect to get any sleep whilst you're there. I was under the illusion I'd be doped up and getting some serious naps in. Hell no. Apart from the ambient racket they were creating, they were in and out of my room practically every hour. If i were you? I'd be asking them straight up to leave you alone after the first night. I walked out of hospital shattered... Best of luck for today. I know you'll be legendary and then it all begins. We'll be waiting for you :)xx
  20. Two vodka's and 10 hours sleep. Marvelous! Ready to take on the world!
  21. I'm a sufferer. I was told by my surgeon that NSAID 'stick' to the stomach and thus erode it. I proffered Voltfast, which is diclofenac powder, diluted in lots of water. He conceded that would be okay. I would only go to those, however, if the Maxalt and the tonnes of codeine I take didn't kick it... As for the causes of migraines - mine is barometric pressure, stress and hormones. No food triggers (unless I drink strong coffee on an empty stomach in the morning). To be honest and as we all know - if you get one, you'd sell your soul to get rid of it.. So I wouldn't worry too much. I'd just try and get the good stuff which is a little better on the stomach...
  22. And I'm not lying about the 'just what the doctor ordered' bit either. Contacted my bariatric nurse and her words? 'The week you've had - have at it honey. Just don't drink too much, because it'll hit you hard.' I think I love my nurse...
  23. Vodka Martini - bit too strong on the delicate stomach. Pina colada.. Bit too rich. I think I've hit it perfectly correct with the Bison grass vodka, water and a dash of fresh apple juice. Oh, and lots of ice. It is very very tasty and just what the doctor ordered.
