  1. I feel the same way,but I'm not a woman. A fat man yes I am,lol.... When I lost a total of 94lbs I could really see a different me but I was still a fat bear so I didn't really pay any attention to the comments people gave me because I felt as if I was still that 300 pound man. Now that I'm sleeved I'm hoping to get down to 200 as a realistic goal weight but I would love to be 180. I think I would see myself in a different light. As of right now I don't see it but I do feel it because my clothes are smaller. Good luck to you.
  2. I just noticed today that every time I'm sitting in a chair and stretch backwards like towards the back of the chair I can feel my sleeve, its weird because before your stomach would just poke out and I really never felt anything. I can feel it ,it feels really small, and I can really tell that my insides have been altered. Has anyone else noticed this weird feeling when you stretch?
  3. About a full 2 weeks because the pain was one sided then at times both sides. I used to get intense pains on my incisions for no reason at all.
  4. I have my days even at 5 weeks out now that I just feel like either I'm so tired sometimes in minor pain and other times I get outright upset for minor reasons. Its just a new lifestyle change and will take a while to get used to. My wife on the other hand is having the time of her life now,and that makes me happy. She was infested with health problems prior now its just like she took a magic pill she looks and feels better everyday.
  5. Awesome, that's what its all about...
  6. Awesome I don't have any but I want a few as well
  7. Wow me and you were on the same page... I couldn't wait to get out of there I was just so ready to leave that hospital, then when I got home I didn't know what to do....
  8. Awesome I'm sure this helped a lot of people including me. Thank you.

Awesome, you look good and feel good, that's what its all about. I feel the same way about my loss when people compliment me about my progress so far. Looking forward to getting to my goal weight of 200lbs ....... Keep up the good work and hit the gym hard if you can.
  10. Just look at sipping as just not taking huge drinks or gulps. In my first couple weeks I had to take baby drinks or sips but now at 5 weeks I can drink good amounts , I just can not gulp or drink fast like I used to. The gas pain sets in and you will stop trying to gulp....
  11. Congrats I know you will do just fine.....
  12. It's all good KeKe its a big change but I know and God knows you will do just fine. Stay positive......
  13. Wow I'm very happy with the weight loss for my first month post op 23 pounds, this does not include my pre op weight I lost. I'm motivated to keep going and hope to be at least down to 250 lbs by my b day in October. How much did you loose during your first month post op?
  14. Hi KeKe, I was feeling like this and the day of my surgery I was relieved and scared at the same time. My highest weight was 316 lbs I'm 35 years old and I have tried everything but surgery to loose weight, and even though my lifestyle is different I don't look back a single day . The sleeve is the best surgery I could have ever done. My wife had it as well and the smile and look on her face every time she talks to me,and the excitement she has now about going out with her friends makes me smile even more. I knew that if we both had the surgery we could share a closer bond than we had,and we do.... So sit back remain calm and get ready for the best lifestyle change you will ever make.
  15. Just wondering does anyone have any Tattoos to mark there weight loss journey? I know people get different tattoos to help guide them through life just curious if anyone has a tattoo(s) that help them remember how far they have come. So far I'm thinking about getting something any suggestions?
  16. Your not in a race, so don't feel like that its in vein.... What are you eating, drinking and etc... Tell us a little more maybe we can help you out a bit. Honestly loosing 30 pounds in month is like wow, I wish I could do that.
  17. Please keep us updated, and I hope everything works out for you (:
  18. I have known of sleeved patients drinking full liquids which would be protein shakes for 2 whole weeks and just be fine. I think they add a 3rd week just to be sure everything ges fine in your surgery. Don't stress when I had my surgery my surgeon told my wife my diet was excellent and I even altered my pre op diet. That last week is going to be teh hardest when you have a 3 week. I only had a 2 week. I lost 32 lbs on my pre op diet and a lot of my meals were protein shakes, I was kind sick of food the texture was diifferent.
  19. Sounds like you are stressed and tired of eating hows everything else going for you? To be honest I have felt like this several times and had to force myself to eat. I would really get like this during week 3 and I always feel like I just ate a meal and sick after taking meds. Have you been sleeved or Lap band?
  20. I know teh feeling sometime smy emotional eater wants to come out. Fluids help quite my stomach down but then sometimes I just don't eat enough and need some more food. I'm 5 weeks out and still learning how to eat properly ,its hard.
  21. You just have to give your body time. With loosing weight or trying to loose weight there is always the stalls and disapointment. This is not a race so just be patient and continue doing teh right things, when it happens you will be very happy. Some of us are slow losers and some are faster. Just be patient. I know its hard to do but you can do it.
  22. Congrats, best surgery you will ever have ,now that your ready. Gods Hands and I wish you a speedy recovery.
