HEY there! i am 3 weeks and 4 days out from surgery... and on a stall! i know to be positive and everything, but i just want to be like SERIOUSLY!!!!! i can see it in the tummy that its going down, i know the inches are because i put 3 pairs of jeans in the cant wear bag that needs to goto the donate pile... i joined a slowpitch softball team that plays on sundays and this last sunday was the first game... wow its been 12 years since HS and i sure can tell... i needed a roll cart with air for sure!!!! i have been going to the gym.... DAMN i was so excited to start tho... i get up to bat and totally nerves set in like **** what did i get myself into... i am going to kill myself, but licky me i have insurance lol... well its slow pitch so the ball is no faster than a third grader playing... YEAHHHH!!!! i slam the ball out in the left feild (or i think that is what it was i have forgotten how sad) i was like HELL YEAH the guy dropped it! haha sucker, so i hall off to 1st... as i am running, i start having the running farts like i seriously was farting going to first!!!!!! PRAYING no one heard me lol... pants are able to fall down i was just so excited to get to first! i made it!!!! but then got out at 2nd the next batter... hahah hope you have had a good laugh now!!!! but i am stalling scale has not moved in a week but that is okay... i keep plugging away and going to the gym... i wanted to cheat and not go yesterday but made myself go and was so glad i did!

    Lol. Thank you... Did the stair stepper at gym... Have before? I suggest it... I spend an hour at gym and 2 min on it I was sweating more than in my whole hour at gym.... Girl at gym suggested. 2 min on there then work weights or tummy etc, then come back 2 more min... I seriously was soaked. Felt great. I hurt but the I know it's working hurt

    Weight Stall?

    so glad i read this... i am on a 2 week stall... i am doing so good too.... but its going to come i know it... just trying to stay upbeat. i almost cheated and didnt goto gym yesterday because i was so sore from softball... but i went and did 8 miles on the bike and totally wasnt even bad at all, i watch stuff on the ipad so it goes by and i laugh and have a good ole time... and boom i am like wow i just did that? i am going to try and do weights tonight... but i want to get a trainer or try to make a friend with the guy that is there every day and see if he will "spot" me or give me some tips

    Left overs = happy dogs

    3 weeks out and doc gave me the green light on mushy to normal food... Not to overdo anything. Obviously lol I have been doing small meals through the day.... 2 bites and in the fridge it goes. Soup, mashed potatoes, chicken salad, chips and salsa (3 chips) I have not got myself to do fruit yet because I can't do the banana or apple that cost 89 cents a lb and take one bite and have to toss it. Dogs are loving this tho. All the extra gets to them because I have so much left over
  6. So I just wanted to let anyone know that may need that extra Protein throughout the day.... I have been trying to think of great ways to get the most of protein and many ways.... Drops in the Water, Protein Bars etc.... And I thought I wonder if they had a flavorless kind.... So I walked into GNC and bam they have 100% whey protein flavorless!!! I only got a small package due to being unsure if it would actually be flavorless... So tonight I tried it and not one flavor!!! I put one scoop in a half cup of Soup and bing bang boom best soup, with added protein I needed. I googled a lot and see you can add to yogurt, soup, potatoes, chili etc.... Nutrition facts One scoop 130 calories 70 mg cholesterol 2 g fat 60 g sodium 190 mg potassium Carbohydrate 4 g Sugar 1g Protein 24 g

    right!!!!! haha that is funny! i am on normal food now, but i am still trying to get soup in with protein for dinner just so that i can get that extra added scoop in there... its funny but its totally true, this morning on the way to work i ate a breakfast egg thing i found with alot of protein and i just got flustered because it was tiny (in my old fat girl mind) but 2 bites in i was like i am so done... which is nice but i just felt so wastefull... lucky i forgot something and had to go back home... my dogs enjoyed my leftovers. dang dogs are going to gain what i loose hahahahahaha

    i do it after its warm, in small amounts... i make a bowl of soup last night and just did one scoop and i added it all at once... it was chunky... but i was not really able to tell because it had chucks of other stuff in there so it was like i was just eating the soup....

  12. I'm 16 days post op. I'm doing great. Started on mashed stuff and chicken. Chewed up really good. Soups too. I get about 4 small bites or spoons of whatever and I'm stuffed. My belly grawls and I know stop! Also when I'm hungry I get a loud gurgle too. Water and everything is going down good!!!

    like i said it was a CHIP, not a meal! i am not sure why you are now getting on my surgern... i am going to chalk it up to a SUGGESTION... i believe this is a website for feedback from people's point's of view and how they are doing things... i may have read the entire site wrong but from what my surgen did compaired to all the other post's and people have gone thru this surgery EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT thank you.

    how much rice or whatever did that guy eat... i mean to basically explode on the table i would think he ate WAYYYYYYYYYY more and then just kept shoveling..... for the person who posted this... if you are doing it for crunch or tecture... i was really craving chips right after surgery like 4 days after... the surgern is a family friend and told me chew it up and spit it out... you will get your taste and not hurt yourself in the end... i did it and let me tell you it worked!!!!!!! i am still on the "liquid" post op, but i have gotten okayed for potatoes and yogurt... let me tell you when i need that craving fix that works i dont know if that will work for you too hope this helps and doesnt scare you
  16. Right now I am doing 1 shake for Breakfast, broth for lunch, 1 shake in the afternoon, and broth for dinner.... Along with Water and juice.... I don't think I'm getting enough in.... Or am I? I need some sample day like examples of what others are doing... Don't just say xxx amount of Protein... I want to know exactly so I do know if I'm off or not.... I am going to buy some powder tonight cause right now I'm just doing premade shakes and is that even enough protein in one day? I'm taking all Vitamins too Thanks. Add me too I'd like to be able to check back with progress or updates for great advice given.
