So I've got a few suits I purchased from there, and they claim to do lifetime alterations. What I'm wondering is, how much can they shrink the waist of the pants? Because my waist is shrinking and soon I'm going to be like one of those teenagers that thinks it's "cool" to walk around carrying your pants with one hand...

I've not had any issues either. I feel bad for those who've had issues. I was the same way when I had my hysterectomy. I had no pain or issues with it either.

CPA here...you can write off all your medical expenses if you itemize your deductions on schedule A...however this is limited to 10% of AGI. Aka not many people will qualify for this deduction
But on a positive note I was just approved for surgery tonight woohoo!!

At my support group meeting on Saturday, our guest speaker was a plastic surgeon. It was very informative, he said it costs about $5-7,000 for a breast lift.

Congrats on your success! I am also ~ two months out. My success is less impressive than yours. I am 32 pounds down but have not dropped on ounce in over two weeks. Very frustrating. I have tried to bolster myself by finding non-scale victories. I have been excercising much more recently and am now walk faster and further than just a few weeks back. I feel physically better on all fronts. My knees are less painful, my feet and ankles are not as sore. I never took "before" photos but did take lots of "just post" measurements. I have lost lots of inches. Yippee! My watch is so loose I need to take it in - again. My wedding ring is falling off. I need to use the 4th hole on my belt to hold up my pants...the same belt which barely fastened on the loosest hole pre-surgery. My pants are falling off. Woo, woo. This is fun. I'd be delighted if the scale would budge but I am still very happy that I had the surgery.

Good for you! I am down 52# since surgery. My problem is I can't really exercise like I want. I am waiting to join the YMCA. I can eat a good bit at times others not so much. Most I've eaten is a whole sandwich. But most times its barely half. I have zero issues tolerating things. Which is good, yet bad at the same time. My biggest problem is drinking too fast. I guzzle when IM hot. So when I do yardwork its hard to not just guzzle. Hands down best decision I've made for myself. Would do it all over again.

I know it's hard not to be sad, but most everyone stalls at some point along the way. And besides, your body is still healing and adjusting, it is normal and will pass. I stalled for about 3 weeks, didn't lose a pound, BUT I was losing inches. For my meals: I typically drink a Protein Shake with skim milk in the morning on my way to work. I have a mid-morning Protein Bar, lunch usually varies from turkey & cheese roll ups, to leftovers, to possibly dining out. No matter which one it is, you can bet it is Protein packed! I have a late afternoon snack (fruit, protein chips/bar, yogurt) and then most days I will have another protein shake after I get home. I have a 45 minute commute to and from work everyday, so it is usually after 6 pm when I get home. If I do eat instead of drinking my dinner, then it is usually something like turkey & cheese. I will from time to time have eggbeaters with cheese and lean turkey sausage crumbles as my mid-morning snack. It is only about 85 calories with 8gms of protein. My exercise is irregular at best!! I have a desk job, but do try to work in some walking throughout the day by taking the long way around to drop off stuff for others. Otherwise, weather permitting, I go walking around town. I live in a small, rural town. I've not measured the distance I walk, just the time I'm on the move, which is generally 30-50 minutes. I'll do that a few times a week. Other than that, I work out with my Wii Fit for about 30-50 minutes a couple of days a week.

Really? You may be somebody's mother, but I am assuming you aren't HER mother.
I agree that bad language is a poor means of communication but that said, the OP is obviously frustrated and fed up with this process. Feel a bit of compassion or skip the thread and nix the scolding. It was unasked for and unnecessary.
    To the OP.
Are you required to follow WWs or can you use any supervised diet plan? Do you have insurance? There are other options over WWs, but if WWs is the one you must follow (and it's a great plan!), you can do it online or pay for the entire year at a highly reduced rate.
What do you have to do to get to your surgery? Maybe we can help?
That said, if this whole process is wearing you out, step away and take a break. You have the right to do that. Finding your happiness will take you a long way to getting your weight under control. I wish you well.

Completely off topic, but I wanted to share! It makes me laugh every time I see my username. I have five incisions from my surgery. My three year old likes to count them every day and make sure they're getting better. He's been telling people I have six belly buttons! I thought that was kind of funny! LOL!

    Non scale Victory

My favorite one to date has got to be fitting in the booth at our favorite Mexican restaurant without having to move the table closer to my son. Plus, having lots of room between my belly and the table.
    The others:
Seeing all the bones in my feet and ankles
    Having just 1 chin
My son wrapping his arms around me and getting excited that he can clasp his hands for a "real hug".
All of my rings and bracelets being too big
Buying regular sized clothes from Old Navy
Having my dermatologist not even recognize me until she read my chart, that was an amazing feeling.

I too started drinking coffee at an early age. Just the smell conjures up memories of my grandparents and comfort. I was never told that I couldnt have it, it was more that caffeine was off limits. But that being said, I just finished my daily cup of joe and will move onto my Decaf green tea now. Ive been having a bold cup of coffee with stevia and sugar free Creamer in the morning and if Im in the mood, Ill one in the afternoon. I also have a sleeve of steel like laura-ven so there really isnt anything that hasnt agreed with me.

Wellll...... My surgeon no more coffee EVER!!
So yeah I'm drinking my second cup for the day right now as I write this
I had to rebel on at least one thing geesh!!
I'm a black coffee girl. But after surgery it was the one thing that didn't taste the same.. So for months ( I didn't take it up again for two months after) I just had a bit and I had to put milk and stevia in it. Now I'm back to black for the most part depending on the day.
Oh and I now buy my Beans half and half (reg and decaf)
I also must say I have a sleeve of steel not everyone will be so "lucky"

So we go to the grocery store yesterday. My husband and I split up to divide and conquer the pesky grocery shopping. After a bit, he starts to look for me. I was standing in front of him, just down the aisle.
He didn't recognize me right away
I think he likes my new body. I suspect it makes him feel like he's with a brand new woman. hahahahaha!

I wore hospital gowns the entire time. Usually just one, but if I was leaving my room to walk I put on a second one facing backwards to make sure I wasn't flashing people.
I had an IV pole and a drain the first day I was there - I think it would have been hard for me to maneuver with those things in anything other than a hospital gown.

I had my first post-op appointment with the nutritionist today. I am down 46 lbs and she was happy with my food diary and activity journal. She told me to start taking my Multivitamins twice a day (one in the am, one pm) and to start taking my B12 daily instead of weekly. She said that they are seeing some sleevers with below normal levels in their bloodwork. She asked me about my Protein chips and bars that I had been eating. I just happened to have my Bariatrics Choice catalog with me and I showed it to her. She was surprised that she hadn't heard of them before. I gave her my catalog and the list of my favorite items!
