  1. Unjury chicken broth found online.
  2. I do sugar feel chocolate pudding and my fav smoothy made with unsweetened cocoa, unflavored Protein powder, PB2 Peanut Butter with stevia to sweeten to my liking. I make it with soy or 1% milk and some ice to make it like a dessert. :-) yummy!
  3. My Fitness Pal keeps telling me I'm not eating enough calories. I'm wondering if that is the reasoning for the slow weight loss. I was able to get my 1200 calories in and the next day I lost a lb. lol. Crazy that I struggle to get in what I could throw down in one meal. I'm happy that I cannot eat as much and I don't have a choice. I needed this surgery to help me. My surgeon told me my stomach was huge. No wonder I could eat a 1/2 of pizza. Lol
  4. I'm almost 50 down and my feet, legs, boobs are all shrinking. Lol. My tummy is holding in for dear life. You think it has a mind of its own. Lol. I have lost one size in my waist, but would love for the chub to melt away! Hang in there. I keep visualizing it disappearing. :-)
  5. Sometimes I get on the scale and it doesn't move for a few days. My first instinct is to get frustrated, then I realize....I HAVE changed everything about the way I eat.....then I tell myself....the weight WILL come off. Sometimes I don't go #2 for a couple of days. I blame it in that. Lol. I am doing my best to get in enough calories so my body doesn't think it is starving. Water is critical for our weight loss. If I'm not losing I drink til my eyeballs float. The weight is coming off slow and steady....that's the way it should be. Huge drops in weight is not what we should expect. Oh did I mention that the monthly visit from Aunt Flow can trigger water retention? Lol. Anyway....let's all commit to only weighing ourselves no more than 3 times a week. :-). Best wishes everyone! We are our goal weight!!!
  6. I use soy milk because I have an intolerance to regular milk most times. I like the texture with ice. My fav protein drink is unflavored protein, unsweetened cocoa 1 Tblspn , PB2 peanut butter 2 Tblspn, 1 c. Soy milk, 4 ice cubes, and stevia to my liking. I had it for din din tonight over regular food. Love it!
  7. I haven't either. It's not fun. I used to be regular. I think all the animal protein is too much for our intestines. It needs some fiber. I know if I remember to eat the gummy fiber I do better.
  8. I'll keep her in my prayers! We are only a week within each other. You're definitely more active than me. :-). I changed my position at work and I'm far more physical than I had been. It feels great to move and have so much energy. I wish you all you desire for your health. I get tested this week and hope to go off all the meds. Sometimes I wonder if they keep you on for reasons that are not so great. We shall see. :-)
  9. You may want to journal or read some sort of devotion, even meditate/ pray before you go to bed. We can prepare our minds for a restful sleep. Do your best to not watch food commercials before going to bed. If you're daydreaming....well you're fully in control of what you choose to focus on. I'm 6 weeks out this week and yesterday was a hungry day for me. I was hungry every hour it seemed. I made the best choices I could and I got through it. Take control and remember....what you focus on expands. Best wishes!
  10. Win I sells unflavored protein whey powder. Once I'm finished with my unjury...that's it. I use unsweetened cocoa with PB2 and sweeten lightly with stevia. I'm eating regular foods. I only have a shake once a week now. Thank God!
  11. Not enough protein. I use unflavored Unjury. 22grams of protein and I can make my shake any way I'd like. :-)
  12. I did just find it under my profile/settings/notifications, but I'm on my iPad and not on my phone. I deleted the old app on my phone.
  13. I don't blame you. I'm getting over all the alerts myself.
  14. You may have to go to the website on your computer and redo your settings.
  15. Possibly you may need to up your caloric burning in your work outs? Build more muscle mass to burn more fat? To see a specialist in hormonal health. PCP's are not experts in that field. It could be a shift in hormones. If you have built more muscle....it does weigh more than fat, so that could be the cause. In all I've read about health and fitness that I never implemented until now....those could be causes. Before I had my sleeve i went to see a metabolic and hormonal specialist. He taught me all kinds of things about my genetic make up and the kinds of food my body works best with. :-). Best wishes!!!
  16. Ok so I ate two pintos and cheese from Taco Bell. I should have only ate 1 1/2 Crazy how little I can eat. I used to pound down 6 tacos easy. Lol
  17. A few things I've learned is how our bodies hold on to Water before a significant weight drop. The body is holding on for endear life when we don't eat enough calories. Drink lots and lots of water. This may be TMI, but I lost weight after I took a BM. I eat a lot of Protein and I am no longer regular. Every couple of days my body lets go. Hang in there and measure yourself. Even the most fit people use measurements and not weight due to muscle weighing more than fat. You may be gaining muscle too. :-).
  18. I ate out yesterday with my son and a friend. I was keenly aware of the mountains of food being served and remembered how I used to eat. I got shrimp lettuce wraps with some awesome fresh mango salsa. It took me the same time to eat my appetizer as it did my company to eat their mountain of food. I was full on 12 small shrimps with salsa. I didn't eat the lettuce. Later on last night my son asked me if I was full on what I ate. I think he is still in shock how little I eat now. Occasionally I miss feasting and then I remember how unhealthy I felt and what it led to. Then I move forward again. :-)
  19. I really have a hard time getting over 1000 calories. Where is everyone else at? Fitness pal is not happy. I'm supposed to get in 1200 a day. :-/

  21. I used to ask for extra butter at the movies! I also would pop a bag of buttered microwave popcorn and add a 1/3 of a stick of melted butter. No wonder I was chubby and cholesterol through the roof. Eventually I would have had a heart attack. I truly made a decision to think of carbs like crack to a drug addict. I crave them like mad. The one thing I've found that has helped me is protein chips and I found a cracker that is high protein. The crunch is so satisfying. Bariatric advantage had snacks that are good!
  22. I totally understand. It was very hard to do 4 weeks. The only thing that kept me sane was trying all different kinds of Protein drinks. I served them in fancy glasses. I cheated once with a slice of lunch meat. The pay off was 20lbs. Down before surgery.
