All SEPTEMBER 2013 SLEEVERS..Check in here!

Hey all..i will go first..

Sleeved by Dr. Ortiz in TJ Mexico

HW: 315 6FT TALL!!

DOS: 299

CW: 262.0

53 pounds lost in 7 weeks

Im doing good..still confused as to what i am not allowed to eat still.. Ive learned lately that saltine crackers are evil and slide right down as does popcorn and triggers cravings so those are not allowed in the house anymore!! I feel like i can eat a lot but im still only able to eat 2-3 oz of dense Protein or 1/2 cup Soup or yogurt. I am happy to have gone from a size 24w down to an 18w in pants and from 4x shirts down to 2x shirts and size 13wide shoes down to 12 regular shoes and a 48 C down to a 42B. I still feel fat and dont see it so much and many other people dont seem to notice still.

Heather M, I am much like you about the confusion over food. Cottage cheese, eggs and tuna have all made me sick. My food quantities are the same as yours. However I wouldn't change my decision to have the sleeve for a million bucks!

Was sleeved on 09/18.

My HW was 392.

Surgery weight was 365.

Now down to 332. So down 33 pounds since surgery. I am well pleased.

I have so much more energy.

My BP meds are down from 7 tablets per day to 1.

I no longer have water retention in my legs.

Things can only get better!

Don't be down on yourself. You are not fat. You are a tall lady who carries her weight well. Instead give yourself a pat on the back. 53 pounds in 7 weeks is awesome. You go girl!

Hi people!

Well, I never thought that the post op was so hard for me (I'm hungry a lot)! But!!!!! I stopped my diabetes and bp meds, and I feel so good with my self and how I see me in the mirror...

Congrats and good luck to all September sleevers!

I have gone from 3x to 2x scrubs and 26W to 22W jeans. So far I can tolerate almost all foods except for milk straight up. I have accepted that I am a slow loser weight wise but the inches seem to be coming off. I have had 2 three week stalls and I am only almost 2 months out which is frustrating and a reason I don't post very much. I still have many regrets and am not sure if I had the choice that I would do this again.

So far have gone from a size 28 to a size 20/22!

Was 281 august 28th. Now 252 and dropped a size and almost another size. My legs and boobs are going first. :-/. Lol

I am focusing on getting 80 to 90 grams of Protein in a day. I have hit 100 here and there. I eat a lot of animal products. I'm adding in more veggies now. I crave a salad, but was avoiding what Fiber does to my tummy. I have ore energy than ever and strangely enough I don't have to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes. I'm thinking because my stomach was huge (surgeon said) and the far loss.

Dr. Macintyre is my surgeon and he rocks!!! I live in LV, NV.

I did get mad because the hospital is trying to get another 1100k out of me after paying my co-pay. I couldn't believe what they charged for one night stay. 68k for surgery and one night if care. My insurance negotiated it down to 16K. Just wild!

My goal is to be medication free by the end if this month. Workout 5 days a week and continue my healthy eating choices for life.:-)

Down 40 pounds!

Currently having trouble with getting Protein in, there is only 1 shake I still like and it only has 15 grams per serving. food intake is not so good, average about 300 calories a day. Feeling a little sluggish, but went back to work recently so that keeps me going!

Best of Luck to all my fellow September sleevers!

So far everything has been good.. I am tolerating almost everything I eat, except a Protein shake I tried that had way too much sugar. Other than that I ate and know to stop when the hickups start.
