Well I had lost 101lbs 5 months and 117lbs as of 7 months. LOVE MY SLEEVE! How much more do you think I can lose? HW 325, SW 301, CW 209. My goal in my head was 175lbs but I REALLY think I can get to a normal BMI of 140lbs. I'm trying really hard by exercising, Proteins and lots of Water. Any suggestions? Februarly only lost 4 lbs but March lost 10 lbs. Really hoping for 15lb loss for April to get me to well under ONDERLAND!!!! Happy Sleeving all

This is just what I did but it gives you an idea. I tipped the coordinator $100.00, drivers $5.00 each way, didn't tip nurses but maybe I should have but didn't, bags I tipped $2 per bag and if they brought me something. Take small bills when shopping and when you leave Mexico at the boarder people will be asking for money and selling items. I had a lot of change in my purse so I did give them the change because that part was a little sad. You will have an amazing vacation on top of surgery. Crazy to believe but true! Can't wait to read about your journey on here when you get back!!! Sherry

Illan with Baja Bariatrics? YES Would I go back to Mexico to be sleeved? YES! Am I happy with my decision? YES! Dr. Illan is a very talented surgeon and his WHOLE team is amazing! I took a family member back in January to be sleeved and would recommend his team to anyone. While in Tijuana I met other patients from different doctors and noticed they didn't have someone there checking in to make sure their spouse/friend/family member had eaten or was ok. When out shopping with Omar I ran into the same people who had to take a cab and had no idea what to do or where to shop. The Baja Bariatric team goes OVER & BEYOND anything you can even think of during your stay. I've lost 101 lbs thus far and am beyond thrilled with my surgery and support I have received from Baja Bariatrics

I was sleeved in Mexico by Dr. Illan on 8.31.13 in Tijuana MX. I would not trade my experience for anything. Dr. Illan is a very talented surgeon with Baja Bariatrics and his team is amazing! His coordinator Omar is there to help you every step of the way and afterwards. I started out at 326 lbs, 301 day of surgery and currently 287 This tool has saved my life and I'm not sure where I would be if Dr. Illan and his team hadn't given me this tool/gift. The hospital was very nice and the nurses were so sweet and attentive. I would not change one thing about choosing Dr. Illan or going to Mexico except to have done it sooner! This has been an amazing journey thus far and the best is yet to come! I love my sleeve!!!

I was sleeved in Mexico on August 31st, 2013 by Dr. Illan. It has been an amazing journey thus far. I started out at 326 lbs, 301 after pre op diet and today I am 238! Dr. Illan and his entire team is top notch and are still taking such an interest in our success. I am so happy that this was available in Mexico since my insurance didn't cover surgery and Dr. Illan and his team are so talented.
